Welcome one, welcome all, thought I'd be the first for once.

Newspaper reports indicate a double eviction and that flopsy Katie is due for the axe. Let's hope no vicious bananas thwart her 'performance'.

Mark your spots and I'll see you all later. :)

That is absolutely HYSTERICAL

Best thing I have seen on mumsnet for ages.

Port you are a legend.

IvantaOuiOui · 13/11/2010 17:47

Wanger is wearing a golden top hat tonight.

Raahh · 13/11/2010 17:57

and here are the classic tracks that are to be murdered
sung tonight

Performances

1 Direction
Something About The Way You Look Tonight

Aiden Grimshaw
Rocket man

Cher Lloyd
Sorry Seems to Be The Hardest Word

Katie Waissel
Saturday Nights Alright (For Fighting)

Mary Byrne
Can You Feel The Love Tonight

Matt Cardle
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

Paije Richardson
Crocodile Rock

Rebecca Ferguson
Candle In The Wind

Wagner
I'm Still Standing

I am not a huge Elton fan, so not too keen on any of the choices, tbh. Cher has the only song I actually like. I read elsewhere that Wanger is doing a 'mash up' with something else, not sure what.

Hate hate HATE "Candle in the Wind' after the whole Diana funeral version. May have been better for katie- she could have pretended to be Marilyn monroe...

I also read that Katie was originally mooted to be doing 'The Bitch is back' ha! ha!Grin

Raahh · 13/11/2010 18:02

Also pmsl re Ports comment- having been subjected to looking at the photo by DH, I might add that i too though the woman in question had a willyGrin

ThatllDoPig · 13/11/2010 18:05

I quite like Katie Weasel.
[ducks to avoid banana]
Lets throw something at Chuur instead

giraffescantdancelikeannw · 13/11/2010 18:06

hello.

Sighning on to the thread.

I have 15mo dniece here tonight. :O She loves xfactor and will be watching too. Shes snoozing on the couch now. Shes going to dance to all the songs ready for tomorrow when we are doing a sponcered danceathon with 2 other MNers cough

giraffescantdancelikeannw · 13/11/2010 18:07

That was meant to be a Grin

SuePurblybilt · 13/11/2010 18:08

I am here, marking my place for later. I shall miss the Weasel. Said it last week but I like Goodbye Yellowbrick road so a Cardie version is OK by me. Any song that has the line " I'm going back to my plough" is a winner on so many levels Grin.

The rest of it is giving me the heeble shudders already.

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 13/11/2010 18:20

Ugh, Elton John night. I think I'd rather watch an hour of scary fannies, tbh.

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 13/11/2010 18:21

Never mind, there is home made pizza and shop bought wine on the menu tonight. If things get really bad I can always stuff the wine cork in my ears.

misdee · 13/11/2010 18:25

will be watching and laughing tonight. on fast forward as always.

SuePurblybilt · 13/11/2010 18:35

Anyone else still dazed and confused at Terry Wogan's impression of Louis on Buzzcocks? His Cockness was v funny but him doing Louis was odd

whomovedmychocolate · 13/11/2010 18:38

I can't stand Cher either. Anyone who picks a sneer which makes them look like they've had a stroke is bloody weird IMHO Hmm

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 13/11/2010 18:42

I guess it worked for Elvis.

I thought Tel was looking a bit toupee-ish.

HouseOfBamboo · 13/11/2010 18:47

Am sooo excited that it's XF night (despite the ugh-fest of Elton songs).

Although am reeling from the twin rumours that a) Aidan is gay b) Aidan is shagging Cher. Of the two I'd rather he was gay, at least in my fantasy world I could take him shopping Sad

bandgeek · 13/11/2010 18:48

Port Grin grin] Grin

I was reclicking on that link wondering what I missed before I read your next post!

I'm Still Standing by Wagner is surely genius though! I wish they would give Rebecca a more upbeat song for once.

I really like Aiden, fingers crossed he does a good job of Rocket Man

giraffescantdancelikeannw · 13/11/2010 18:49

Right going to wake DN up and get her fed and bathed and in to her jammies before harry hill starts.

Got her cot all made up in my room. God I love having a cot in my bedroom

HeroShrew · 13/11/2010 18:50

Hello dears

Ooh does that mean that Dame Elton is mentoring? Are they still doing the mentoring thing? Confused

Wagner doing I'm Still Standing will be ACES.

HouseOfBamboo · 13/11/2010 18:51

Oh and Port that was a genius wrongpost

HeroShrew · 13/11/2010 18:51

The 'guest' mentoring thing. You know what I mean.

HeroShrew · 13/11/2010 18:52
HeroShrew · 13/11/2010 18:53

Port, give us a link to the thread you meant to post that on, I'm intrigued! Grin

SuePurblybilt · 13/11/2010 18:53

Ooooooo, Sir Tel doing the bedtime story on Cbeebies. Better than the XF.

FairyArmadillo · 13/11/2010 18:54

Port! Grin I actually clicked on the link a few posts above yours with trepidation thinking it may have pictures of bananas and Katie W's fanny!

Raahh · 13/11/2010 18:54

rofl at 'HouseofBamboo'taking Aiden shoppingGrin
i am glad he is doing something a little less intense.
Am also very glad no-one is doing Sacrifice, or Nikita.

After Elton slagged off the programme, i wonder how tempted they were to change the theme?
