My boy, just turned 20, has got his girlfriend pregnant. She's 21 and really wants the baby. We are 7 months in, he also now wants the baby. I think he thinks of it as a new belonging. He has no job, not looking for one, she doesn't really care..I can't afford a baby....what the hell do I do 😔

notquiteruralbliss, don't you think there is something odd about a 20yo who hasn't already done something about working out what he wants to do and taking steps towards it, whether that means applying to uni or getting a job in a bar?

I have a 20yo. She works, her friends are into their second year at uni. No way would I have sat around patiently and waited for two years while dd got off her backside and started realising that maybe she is responsible for thinking about her future.
