In reference to a question by ltec the other day.

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 10/06/2010 12:03

Roary - are you sure you could BF in that? I don't think the neckline is wide enough?

VerityBrulee · 10/06/2010 12:05

Just nipping in to say a huge THANK YOU to whoever said the Valentino doc was on last night, am watching it now and am in heaven

Will catch up later, hope it's not as cold where you are as it is here, it's like winter

bunjies · 10/06/2010 12:07

roary - thanks for the AA links. Unfortunately the colour I did like was sold out in my size. And they don't have the other colour I'm looking for which is an eau de nil green.

roary · 10/06/2010 12:13

Hells probably not... but maybe in the ANglomania one that everyone has, which is now out in red? Tracey and others what do you think? THat's this one

Bunjies the American Apparel website is really strange. If you are near an actual shop I'd suggest going in as they often have stuff that is not available online. Too bad about the colours!

hellsbelles · 10/06/2010 12:19

Roary I have that one. Can't try it on right now to check out BF possibilities but I think probably not. Hopefully Tracey will have already tried and can tell us! If not I will do a try on later and let you know!

roary · 10/06/2010 12:25

Thanks Hells! I do LOOOVE it. You see my problem, with not liking the breastfeedable dresses...

Hi Everything - glad you had a good holiday!

I think the dukan questions are odd to work out your ideal weight - I know what weight I like to be and its not mr dukan says .

Roary - Think I'd struggle to bf in the anglomania dress. How about going strapless and just taking a wrap or excusing yourself to go and feed?

If not - afraid I'd go for a wrap dress or separates. For discreet bf - I've always got on much better with the classic two top arrangement.

hellsbelles · 10/06/2010 12:59

It's currently saying 9 stone 4 for my 'true' weight - which I reckon would be o.k (though I'd love lighter I think it would be fine).

I'm sure I got a different answer a while back...I must have changed some of the perimeters! I am rather chuffed to be 'fine boned'....I didn't realise that the fingers round the wrist was a test for that.

AllBuggiedOut · 10/06/2010 13:09

I don't understand why the durkan site changes your "true" weight according to what you say your ideal weight is. Really odd. I like the changing model too everything

mm glad the jeans went to a good home; and by the way, you're welcome

hellsbelles · 10/06/2010 13:19

I'm not really too bothered about what the model is saying. I'm just using it to lose the weight that I think is right. I'll probably totally muck it up becuase of this attitude though

ReineDeSaba · 10/06/2010 13:36

yay, twas me VB..a good fashion fix does us all good.

Thanks for all your feedback re-dd2's weight..i'm a little scared of posting on other threads as this is the only one I've followed so far that's really love and peace.. 'wear and let wear'.I will definitely try to hang out a bit more at home to up the bfs(have been using time when dd1 at nursery to race to shops as babybjorn so easy)DD2 does indeed look plumptious and both I(usually!) and dh are stringbeans so probably won't produce an 80th percentiler. With DD1 I lost tonnes of weight bfing(bmi ended up at 17)without trying and had to fight to put some on but no low weight issues for her and I have kept some extra weight/rejected dieting yet with dd2 to make sure she's getting all she needs especially after her illness..wail..i don't want to be fat with crap breast milk

Anyhoo..back to S and B..great going hells..will be picking everyones' brains on diets in a few months i'm sure.

MM..I think the dress you said everyone would have was made for you..from your profile pics I think you will look stunning in it

Due to dd2 napping I have gone a bit bonkers online and animaltastic ordering www.theoutnet.com/product/201320 and www.theoutnet.com/product/38770
nods to roary over in the bfers who love nonsuitable dresses corner

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2010 13:38

Yes me too Hells. I am a bit cavalier with the diet as don't have scales and am winging it. And ad libbing slightly. I hate being weighed, silly huh. Anyway seems to be working so far. (have the odd thought of nice fresh deli bread and butter.. .mmmm... then it passes).

blossoming · 10/06/2010 13:38

Hi everyone.

Can't help re breastfeeding but the silver and raspberry animal print wrap dress went down a storm when I wore it Sunday. I linked then I think roary.

I spent my honeymoon in Babington House!

If you look at the Best Secrets magazine with Red this month, it's got my area in the Wales section and the restaurant I went to the other week!

Quiet day today. Dc1 home as unwell so have loaded up with magazines.

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2010 13:40

Oh Reine that is lovely stuff, excellent!

AllBuggiedOut · 10/06/2010 13:42

I love that zebra print dress reine, it's fabulous!

hellsbelles · 10/06/2010 13:43

Reine - they look fab purchases...can't wait to hear what they are like in RL.

ReineDeSaba · 10/06/2010 13:51

Well done Marsha

blossoming..I meant to say I picked up 2 magazines today just because they have 'free' giftsbut worth a flick I guess..glamour had a benifit kohl pencil and I do like my eyeliner and marieclaire had cowshed shower gel..only realised when got home that it was the 'knackered cow' one..how apthave red somewhere too so will definitely check out your hometown.

hells..sorry if you've said before or if you would rather not say..am intrigued to know what type of business you run with your dh..my dh is always coming up with hairbrained business plans...sounds like you are living the dream..

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2010 13:53

I know sorry I felt it was cathartic to write it here.

Just walked to butcher / fishmonger and bought chicken and more prawns (fortune).

ReineDeSaba · 10/06/2010 13:56

I am quietly excited about purchases but have found myself returning quite a lot of stuff to the outnet when I haven't got it quite right..fingers crossed..

ReineDeSaba · 10/06/2010 13:57

hope you're not going to fritter away your chloe boots fund on prawns marsha

ReineDeSaba · 10/06/2010 13:58

of course

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2010 14:01

It's a fine line Reine! Be skinny for clothes via prawns or have some money left.

I have not had a good time with Outnet stuff either, sooo hard to tell online. Yours do look good. The dhl woman came twice in same day, had a little joke she should have just hung around while I tried it on... luckily ds2 gave her a smile to soften any irritation.

traceybath · 10/06/2010 14:02

I am busy sorting out utility room and loading car with stuff to take to the tip - tis a glamorous life I lead

So whose planning on buying what on monday in the nap sale?

I want these

traceybath · 10/06/2010 14:05

Reine - they look good buys to me.
