Wonder how quickly we'll fill this one?

LetThemEatCake · 25/03/2010 17:32

OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH

SELFRIDGES NOW ONLINE!!!!!

hellsbelles · 25/03/2010 18:26

rushing in quickly as I've had a manic day at work and still have to do the supper and all that boring stuff.

Apuski...love all the links. I suspect I'm not the right shape for 1 & 3 but 2 is gorgeous for me. Decisions decisions!

I suspect I will keep YSL one though as purple is my Mum's favourite colour in the world so I think it works rather well. I will need help with shoes/bag/jewellery as I'm totally clueless on that and it being jersey makes it extra tricky.

LTEC - yet again thanks are due to you. Today I am wearing fab Asos black cowl neck top. It looks perfect with my grey jeggings and my drapey twenty twelve mini trench. DH actually said I looked about 17 from the neck down. I do question the position of the pockets - what is with those but they are a small price to pay for a very flattering and barginous top!

OllieWollieWoo · 25/03/2010 18:44

Big news re Selfridges LTEC!

If anyone is looking for a LBD - I thought this LK Benett one was nice - and now 20% off in John Lewis: here

The lovely nude one we liked a while back had a really good reduction but is all sold out here

Hellesbelles - glad you are keeping the dress, it really is lovely and has the 'it' factor!. Had seen this one on the JL website (but yours is nicer!)here Right - enough JL links for one evening me thinks!

hellsbelles · 25/03/2010 18:57

OWW - wow - that cake is amazing! And the pic of your DC's is gorgeous too.

I love that sold out dress. So elegant (too elegant for me I fear)

Romanarama · 25/03/2010 19:19

Good cake OWW!

I wore my rats today, so am v.pleased with myself. With a Pucci silk quite wild minidress on top. Wasn't doing anything very special, but it's finally sunny and warm and I felt..... floral. The daffs are out in the garden you see .

Bought a big t with horses on from Zara this morning which is lovely but a bit long and needs taking up. Actually I think it's a dress, but I want a long tee so will adjust.

Off to read boring stuff in preparation for... another intvu on Monday afternoon. Yawn.

hellsbelles · 25/03/2010 19:39

Roman - you sound gorgeous.

LTEC - dangerous. I told DH and he was very excited. I shall have to do it as a blocked site on our computers!

carciofi · 25/03/2010 19:56

Lovely photos, Ollie.

Tracey, I wanted the olive skinny trousers you mentioned you bought in Zara but couldn't find them. I got a lovely pair of Stuart Weitzman flat sandals from Russell and Bromley and a couple of summer dresses for DD, then she got fed up so we left. Just as well really as I spent more than I should.

I am such an idiot, I have just checked see if the lasagne was ready and realised that the oven has been on for 30 minutes with the lasagne left out on the counter, ready to be put in.

Good luck with the interview, Romanarama.

carciofi · 25/03/2010 20:00

AllBuggiedOut, buy3 gives you free delivery when you buy three sales items at UO.

Thanks carciofi, doesn't seem to be working now .

Am long-time lurker, btw, who popped in a while back to thank Verity for recommending the red Ilse Jacobsen raincoat, which has been a joy to wear and much admired and coveted by others

LetThemEatCake · 25/03/2010 22:32

Roman my dh was finally home tonight to watch the link you pasted the other day - I was waiting to watch it until we could watch it together. We both loved it, thank you.

I think you must have bought the same horse dress as MM!! I bought this bc of MM's description - is it similar?

Really pleased you wore your rats today; likewise hells, glad that the top is good. hana am so pleased you had a lovely birthday

another possible rats top???

I am going to a "parents' night out" on Monday night for my dd's nursery - just at a dodgy pub and, tbh, the folk at the nursery are all quite, um, arty. Not in a stylish, fabulous way either.

I want to wear rats, ASOS cowl tunic, patent ankle boots. Would that be wrong? ? should I wear jeans, high tops and a tee shirt (yawn)

LetThemEatCake · 25/03/2010 22:34

hello AllBuggied don't leave us again, stay, stay!!

OllieWollieWoo · 26/03/2010 07:58

Happy belated birthday Hanaflower. Sounds like you had a lovely day. Know exactly the type of face you must have pulled when you opened your pressie - DH once gave me a hose pipe - on a wheel no less and was totally bewildered by my reaction!!!

OllieWollieWoo · 26/03/2010 08:27

OOoh - just seen this on another thread - the M&S Indigo jeans now come in white and only 19.50! here

AllBuggiedOut · 26/03/2010 08:33

Thank you LTEC - I never left, just haven't started shopping in earnest. Yet...

carciofi · 26/03/2010 08:53

Hana ... belated happy birthday! That restaurant looks wonderful.

AllBuggied, think the code is supposed to work until end of March but only if you are buying 3+ items.

LTEC, your rats outfit for Monday sounds great.

Thinking of getting this Hush dress but would it look like a nightdress??

teafortwo · 26/03/2010 08:56

'ello stylish laaaydies who often use words I don't understand !

Is anyone bothering to save money at all over here anymore???? - you lot are so terrible!

I am v excited because I have a few gift vouchers for Gap hanging around the place and an invite (thanks to mn) to Stella McCartney for Gapkid's Paris breakfast party!!! !!!

Must shop wisely
Must shop wisely
Must shop wisely!!!

Moneyspider · 26/03/2010 09:02

Could this work with grey skinnies do you think?

hellsbelles · 26/03/2010 09:50

happy belated birthing Hana! hello teafortwo - lucky you going to the MN thing.

Money - I'm not stylish enough to pull that jacket off and I just can't get the thought of curtains out of my head when I look at it - but wait for those who know about fashion to give you the proper verdict.

Moneyspider · 26/03/2010 10:06

Helles- everything I like these days seems to have the look of curtains about it...must pull myself together

bunnymother · 26/03/2010 10:08

Hello!

MM, Carciofi and Cakey - so sorry for your losses.. This thread really has some substance as well as style, doesn't it.

Tracey - was thinking about white skinnies (Baxters, although those teenage skinnies from Boden look good. Am a Boden virgin, but could poss go to the dark side...). However DD crawls and is into everything, which she transfers to me. You have little ones but still think white "bottoms" are possible?

OWW - IMRPESSIVE cake!

Hana - happy birthday!!

Not sure I can comment on the weight and exercise points raised. Am letting the side down - no exercise apart from sit ups and running after DD. So have to watch what I eat v carefully.

Bought a v dark navy or black and white Breton top from Gap. Will report back. And bought yet more flip flops (black patent leather) and am on the hunt for the coloured ones w fabric in my size (have to go up as they come small).

bunnymother · 26/03/2010 10:09

Bugger, OWW - IMPRESSIVE! is what I meant to type...

Moneyspider · 26/03/2010 11:03

tracybath- did you order the mint velvet yet? House of Frser have 20% off today!

Moneyspider · 26/03/2010 12:26

LTEC - could this work for you?

traceybath · 26/03/2010 12:35

Thanks moneyspider - I'm actually not buying anything else until the weather brightens up.

Realised last night I have quite a few unworn things in my wardrobe and want to start wearing them before spending any more money really.

Dreadful night with Bea again - actually watched Katie Price programme at 3am
