Wonder how quickly we'll fill this one?

Hi all, enjoying reading all your posts. I'm having a quiet week although I did go RL shopping in Chester today. There were good sales on and now I know which colours suit I got two great tops in m&s for just 10 quid! I've been too scared of the sale rail before.
I also got an electric blue trench coat which I'm going to wear belted for my Paris trip on sale in phase eight.
Looking forward to a glass of wine or two later.

hellsbelles · 19/03/2010 18:20

bargain blossoming! I'll be joining you on the wine soon. I've had one of those days!

But have been slightly freaked out by the new ads telling you how you will collapse in a heap if you regularly have 2 glasses of wine a night. Oops.

Hana - you will look beautiful.

GeorginaWorsley · 19/03/2010 20:12

Love the Whistles dress hells
Am thinking of these

for under tunics/dresses for summer as alternative to leggings??

bunnymother · 19/03/2010 20:25

I am also in need of a nice glass of wine - its my 3rd night in a row where DH has been out. Crikey Mikey, I have no idea how you do it on a regular basis, Cakey. I have only the 1 child and am feeling quite worn out.

Tracey - I need to get some white skinnies for Delie for when she is 1, too. Although she was crawling all around in Whole Foods today and her white tights are filthy, so need to wait until she walks before I put her in more white bottoms.

God help me, she has woken up...

traceybath · 19/03/2010 20:32

Georgina - I like those very much indeed.

GeorginaWorsley · 19/03/2010 20:49

Thanks tracey
I think that they will be a great skinnies/leggings alternative, probably much cooler as well!
The only thing is ,they will be long,so there may end up being too much ruching,IFYSWIM!

hellsbelles · 19/03/2010 21:05

chinks glass with Bunny and georgina.

I should get white skinnies for DD too...she's 13 months now. ACtually they better not be skinnies more baggy as she has gorgeous baby fat thighs still! She also gets very irritated with waistbands as they restrict her pasta eating power and little buddha belly!

Bunny - I was a bit about those but looked at the pics where they were actually being worn and am warming to them. If you get them please report back about their RL potential.

blossoming · 19/03/2010 21:12

Let me tell you, there is a reason they are called miraclesuit, and a reason they cost squillions.
I was so impressed with two cozzies I bought in m&s today. Until I tried them on when I got home.
Ugh! Whatever, at least get another day out to return them.
Must lose the weight by summer.
Okay am on third glass. Cheers all!

CHOOGIRL · 19/03/2010 21:13

Clinks glass with Hells, Bunny and georgina.

Can I wear these without looking too much like Michelle Obama?

I love MO by the way, it's just I want to look less corporate and more edgy.

hellsbelles · 19/03/2010 21:30

chinks glasses with everyone - even Tracy even though she is brown and I'm jealous of her tan

Choo - you can most certainly wear those and you will look wonderful.

Georgina - meant to say - I love that I am getting credit for a dress..but alas whistles wasn't me...OWW found that one but there is only a size 8 left so we are all just looking at it longingly.

GeorginaWorsley · 19/03/2010 21:32

OOH,thanks OWW then!

Hanaflower Was on the train earlier this week. A stranger came up to me and said I looked like MO

Don't get me wrong MO is gorgeous, but she is a few years older than me.

bunnymother · 19/03/2010 23:22

Hells - did you mean me when you said "I was a bit about those but looked at the pics where they were actually being worn and am warming to them. If you get them please report back about their RL potential"? Have had wine, but am pretty sure I didn't link to anything? BTW I just love the thunderous baby thighs. Too adorable.

CHOO - I think the CL shoes are nice, but I think I prefer either a high heel or a kitten heel, not a heel that is stiletto in style only shorter IYKWIM. Why don't you get the higher version? They are wow.

Right, staggering off to bed...

aarghhelp · 20/03/2010 06:15

btw do you think these are for real?

Zembo · 20/03/2010 07:08

aargh reading this fairly sure they're copies.

ApuskiDusky · 20/03/2010 07:23

aarghelp definitely fake

bunnymother · 20/03/2010 08:49

Yes, definitely fake aargh. And pretty pricey for fakes!

Romanarama · 20/03/2010 10:11

choo I have the same pair of CLs in my shopping basket. I agree the higher ones are more beautiful, but that's always true of heels and it's so useful to have gorgeous mid-heel shoes to wear as well. Wearing really high heels can ruin your day (as well as your back and your feet!).

Romanarama · 20/03/2010 10:13

The whistles dress seems to be back in in a 10 btw.

LetThemEatCake · 20/03/2010 10:32

just a quick visit from me as am single mum all weekend and we are all, to varying degrees, ill. Quelle joie! So not sure how much time I'll have for the serious business of A&Wing this weekend

BUT

georgina I like them, good price too - am tempted to try

tracey have a wonderful and well-deserved night out tonight, bet you look a million bucks

Choo have never seen you in RL but in my head you are Halle Berry . Ms Obama indeed!!

have been pondering the rats- top length question and admit that I would probably get more wear out of them in these climes if I embraced the mid-thigh look - so what do we think to this for a cheap and cheerful option?

GeorginaWorsley · 20/03/2010 10:37

I agree LTEC,that top is good.
if you love the Rats you should wear them any way you can!

hellsbelles · 20/03/2010 11:07

sorry bunny! I was referring to the toast leggings that Georgina linked to. And my 2 glass of wine fuddled brain got confused on the names

Does anyone know of a good tailor in central London (even better in Islington!)...I am seriously thinking about getting the dress taken in as it's such a perfect colour and basic style. I've never had anything altered before (apart from my wedding dress) and I think it's about time I started (in my quest to become better dressed).

hellsbelles · 20/03/2010 11:09

LTEC - that looks like a really good find. You are clever. Hope the illing eases and you are all back to normal soon enough.

GeorginaWorsley · 20/03/2010 13:23

Hells will order Toast trousers and report back.
Does anyone know whether Toast sizing is generous?I seem to think that it is,so will probably go for small as opposed to medium.
