@RipplePlease6 I have £7 worth of points when I spend £70 and it wouldn’t add on with 2 advents or with an advent and something else. Would add if I spent £70 on other things, but not the advent.

Shame about the Harvey Nichols calendars as well, hoping they do eventually get released, although it's looking unlikely.

I’m surprised HN haven’t released as they must have been fully ready to go prior to the takeover. And often the products within are not standard for sale sizes. I’m still hopeful!

I think they will find their way to market somehow. Law of supply and demand.

LOL yes, I’ve been wearing a full face of makeup every day these past 2 weeks, including going way OTT on the blusher 🤣

@IDontHateRainbows I’d be interested in a swap. Not that I have anything specific in mind.

@Mejera I’ve been frequently applying lip products throughout the day, and have been trying to make more of an effort to wear eyeshadow at the weekends rather than just for going on days/nights out.
However, I’m doing the opposite with face creams. I’ve been squeezing as much as I possibly can out of an Elemis mini tube, despite having several other Elemis, and a drawer full of other face creams 🤣

On another note, my DF visited and had to shuffle past my advent tower/boxes. On the top was a La Mer face cream which I bought off Vinted (despite having 2 or 3 already in my stash), and I randomly mentioned the RRP of it. He looked totally stunned and picked it up to examine it with intrigue, like there had to be far more to it than just a moisturiser in a simple green box 😅

I have rewards for knickers, jeans and champagne 🤣

I bought the Boots skincare advent today with the discount for my sister as a present for her birthday at the start of December. That means the one I purchased with a discount from last year I can keep for myself so will be opening that at the weekend.

I purchased the pureseoul advent calendar on the 18th September just before we headed to our gate to board a plane. It was a bit of an impulse buy if I am honest. My dh had booked us a surprise trip for my 40th. I have received the Harrods bac as part of my birthday present. I have ordered cult beauty (received), Sephora ( still waiting) and Pureseoul for myself so that is me done now, I think.

@Realtnamara @MrsBnow12, and others… I’m curious about the postage system from Ireland to UK and visa versa (ooh, off topic, but does anyone remember those visa versa chocolates from the 90’s?)

I used to send gifts to family over to ireland but was told that there are import charges now.
How are you able to send and receive these things without any issues? I know there was mention of splitting calendars up, but even so. I’m trying to understand how it all works

Re the boots extra points.
Extra points,etc dont usually add to advents or stuff already reduced/on offer.

I love this one as well, got it on Vinted last year from some FAC, don't remember which one.
Carnal Flower isn't a popular one, unlike Portrait of a Lady, so I think there will be a lot of them on Vinted very soon from JL FAC. Should be around £20

@Thelifeofawife I hope your father’s new knowledge of cosmetic prices doesn’t cause your mother any issues!

I love Carnal Flower too, which surprises me as I normally hate anything coconut scented. I got a full size bottle from TK Maxx a while back though so I’ll probably sell the one in the JLFAC.

I also think it’s much more interesting/ unique than Portrait of a Lady (which I have also!).

🤣 No issue on that front, she very much sticks to budget friendly skincare.

Currently surveying cardboard box mountain. Am meant to be trying to put my recent purchases away but also don’t want to put them too away in case I forget I have half this stuff (and I will, immediately). Is there a partial-away option? How do other people with crap memories organise their stashes?

I'm the same @DidILeaveTheGasOn, I'm very much 'out of sight, out of mind'. Im currently building a wall of calendars in the corner of my bedroom or 'Advent Corner' as I keep calling it. DP can't complain, he started all this by buying me Liberty last year. Up till that point I was living in ignorance about the existence of such things and nearly fell over when I found out how much it cost. Oh how things have changed...😂

I have a spreadsheet that I update every so often. It has a 'location' column.

Having said that, I listed Rodial vit-C drops on vinted and sold it for £8. When it came to posting I couldn't find it anywhere. I spent 3 days looking. In the end I offered the buyer one of the 2 Medik8 C-tetras that I had in recompense. She was very happy with that result 😅

@Mejera - I asked CoPilot to give me a regime for using my Medik8 stash today and he came up with a way that i can use everything, alongside the products that I already have open. Once I've gone through the Medik8 I'll get him to suggest a regime for the rest of my stash

There's a new charge of €3 plus VAT per item. It used to be you were only charged for things over €150 including postage. It's a total pain.

Some foreign companies (e.g. Amazon) include the charges so at least you don't get hit on delivery plus an admin fee. They also remove their VAT and add Irish VAT.

It accidentally fell into my basket…. Now have Liberty, Boots fragrance, the fragrance shop, pintails (candles), treatbox and this one….ooops!!

I really don't understand neck cream (or arm cream or leg cream). Surely neck cream is just a facial moisturiser and arm or leg cream is just a body cream?

My friend is in Northern Ireland so UK to UK, Brown Thomas deliver to Northern Ireland.
We use Royal Mail for posting and parcels are under £75 in value when using tracked 48hours.
