Thank you for the new thread. I’ve bought the boots skin one too. It was too much of a bargain to resist. I must stop. I am at the point where I could have an advent calendar every month for the next 12months. I am resisting the JLFAC because I have soo much perfume already. I’m currently sorting out my beauty stuff and tbh it’s an embarrassment. My DH has suggested turning our spare room into my beauty room so I can fit all the stuff. I’m thinking a single room seems a bit limiting to me! 🙈

ChatGPT has said re Boots skincare: And I think the €68 price is important here. At €85 cash I'd be much more inclined to say no, you have enough skincare to moisturise the county. 😂 At €68 entirely in points, with several genuinely useful/new products and one exact repurchase, I think it's a reasonable little indulgence.

I just need to get my extra 220 points now. And in fairness, it's only the county I have enough to moisturise, not the country.

I'm not looking at the boots skin or JL FAC, I struggle to resist a bargain 🤣 My focus is the BT one and the SFAC.

I’m three FACs in now having never previously bought an advent anything! I bought two HFACs and one JFAC. Just waiting on SFAC now and then I’m done. Hoping to at least break even on them all selling what I don’t want. Made a small profit on the HFACs but then bought a few extra of the BDK on Vinted! Although I’m still not convinced I need two Brompton Immortals or the Thameen (I need to test them in store). If I miss out on the SFAC I’ll probably sell a Brompton Immortals to buy the Ex Nihilo in the SFAC.

I was already on the fence about BACs as I have more than enough makeup and skincare but all the issues people have been having have thankfully helped me keep my restraint!

In fairness, if anyone deserves to get the BT one it's you. Your dedication to the cause is exemplary.

I signed up to the waitlist for the BT but didn't receive any emails. Just checked and realised I had set communications to none in my account, which would explain it.

Someone said earlier that it is on presale tomorrow. Did anyone receive a link or anything or will there be another email tomorrow?

Well me holding out on the JLFAC lasted less than an hour. I only went to have a look……. I also had a £10 reward which worked so it’s on its way. 😬🙈

my lovely friend in England posted over the Harrods Scent seeker tote bag to me in the summer. I used her address for delivery. The only way I could get it. It was only 7 or 8 pounds tracked. Suppose it was fairly light.

Hi all, thanks for new thread, just checking in with my Christmas tribe and waiting for news on the Fenwick BAC (which I’m definitely NOT buying! 😆)

Someone mentioned yesterday ‘saving things for best’ which I also do to a lot of. So I looked up the dates on my current SPF and the one I’d been saving - BOTH out of date and fit for the bin, such a waste - let this be a lesson in ENJOY the products now (or sell before they go out of date!)

I didn't have a reward but bought it anyway. Annoyingly I had a reward last month which just expired because there was nothing I wanted in the last month.

After haunt so many calendars last year, Ive finally caved in and bought the F&M calendar. I’ve only bought thr Harrods and JL fragrance calendars so far, and didnt like the idea of waiting until Christmas without any drawers to open each day 🤣

I do similar with a friend who is based in NI, to save on postage we either agree to unbox the advent or not. I unboxed the Harrods fragrance and sent it in a few parcels but will get the BT sent over in the box as am tempted to keep it for December and not open and split it up, which I normally do.

If only the BT was available in store tomorrow! I'm still in Ireland but leave on Saturday 😥I bought the JLFAC this morning, but really want the SFAC and BTBAC. I'm waiting to find out if I have another job here so am tempted to preorder it for delivery to the office but ultimately know that's madness 😂
