am I alone in thinking they have lost the plot? I didn’t appreciate not getting the email and now this selection seems disappointing for the price, especially as they now have to compete with BT and I am underwhelmed. Especially by the older launches in there. Love Kilian, would have liked one of the new cocktail fragrances in there.

There's only one perfume in it though and it's not even that expensive a perfume. That is definitely overpriced.

The SNK email was so misleading! I thought there was going to be a FS diptyque perfume, hourglass brush... but no, keep scrolling and the BAC has completely different products!

That is such A weird "luxury" list - l'occitaine is nice but a 75ml hand cream is not a luxury product etc.

Exactly. I was excited but I feel like I’m
missing something. This is the least interested I’ve been in an advent this year. I love the Sisley rose but I have 2 pots waiting for me after buying the in the SNK sale but outside of that I just don’t get it.
I’m actually really confused by this offering. I’m thinking maybe I’d buy it at 50% off but even then £205 still doesn’t seem like amazing to me. Unless I’ve lost the plot and have totally overlooked something this is an easy pass for me.

I will keep the eyeshadow stick as I find them handy for travelling with and my other ones have dried out. I do use the U.K. Lash serum so will use that. Not sure about the hair casuals so they might have to go. I have already got a few bits from other calendars to replace the DOD’s 😁

Thanks for the SNK luxury calendar contents @JoRaRaRa. Pretty disappointed with it for the price and can’t imagine it selling out fast.

Thanks @owlpassport and @Peachbubble - I can see that they made a silly mistake with two number 16 doors on the front illustration, but my main focus is what is in it and I think the reviews on Boots should focus on the contents.

I don’t like AI myself - my DSis has started using it for everything - to write emails, job applications, etc. but I just don’t ‘get’ it. I know you can’t turn back time, but if we’re not careful, we will all lose the capacity to think for ourselves 🙀

Are we all just being polite about the 12 day SNK luxe advent? Or are people still picking their chins up off the floor?

Feels a bit emperor’s clothing to me. Like, I get we all have different tastes, and one person‘s treasure is another person’s meh, and all that. But to build it up in the way they have, and charge what they’re asking I find a little insulting. It’s like they think we’re all a bit daft.

Also, I can’t shift the thought that these were meant to be the FAC boxes and for some reason they’ve changed tack and these products just happened to fit….. 🤔

Re: Boots StyleKorean a/c

I have just watched the unboxing and, because I clearly have nothing better to do, I popped things in my StyleKorean basket during the video to compare prices.

I wasn’t able to include everything, as some of the a/c items are sample sizes or minis that are not currently available on the SK site.

However, with discounts, I got the value to be about £250 if you were going to buy it all direct from SK. (You would also have to pay import taxes on the parcel due to it being over £135.)

Boots claim the a/c is worth £302, so with import duties, I reckon we are not far off agreeing in terms of value.

I wish there was a bit more makeup, rather than just a Fwee lip balm, but I think it’s a good calendar overall.

Absolute total shit for 410 pounds if this is the one.
