My Space NK arrived today. I went through it to make sure everything is present and correct, and it is. I also added some makeup I had recently bought to some of the drawers.
I’m pleased with the full sizes, but at risk of sounding like a spoilt brat, it’s miles behind the previous calendars from Space NK.
Design is absolutely beautiful but the box feels a little flimsy for the price.
I’m going to keep it for a make my own one for next year.

I really feel I could be tempted by their “Luxury” advent 😭 even though it pains me.
I actually hope I won’t like it 🤣

Email from BT telling me my calendar is on the way. Woo hoo. Then we will see how much I actually meant that I will keep it for next year...

An Post have been notified so it will presumably be thursday rather than tomorrow that it arrives. At least I hope so as dh is at home tomorrow and I'm not.

Well thankfully I am entirely unmoved by this so don’t have to perform any mental gymnasyics about potentially trying to afford it.

It'll be a no from me for the snk £410 deluxe. May pick up a couple of items on vinted.

I got the email too, not at all what I would have predicted from space nk. There is 3 good solid skincare items which are ‘new’ as in haven’t been around the other advents but they chose terribly with the AB in my opinion and there’s still a lot of small fillers

I like the 111serum and the kilian bottle but really not fussed about it. Nothing particularly new or exciting 😳

Ah that's disappointing.
I was hoping there would be more excitement in there.

I would love the perfume and use the YSL already so it would get used
The rest... Hmm not convinced at all.

I've also used a couple of AB products and I'm not quite sure what obsession is with it tbh.
I mean it's okay but nothing for me to get excited about ( but I get that's just my personal preference)

I think I might bite if the original BAC is reduced
If not I'll just sit this year out.

SpaceNK luxury one doesn’t interest me thank goodness! Have the Sisley cream in the John Lewis one, albeit a smaller size.

I think they made a mistake with not having a palette and having the usual which has been done before LE mascara especially if this is going to be sold as a ‘Christmas Day present’

I’ve just compared them side by side and the Gris Charnel is smaller but otherwise looks identical. The box is also a little smaller, so it would be very hard to tell they weren’t the same unless specified! Ah well. I think Gris Charnel might be too figgy for me anyway. But it is a nice scent.

Thanks @JoRaRaRato my ( untrained!) eye I don’t think that looks great, what makes it worth so much more money than other calendars? I know there are a few things eg Oribe that aren’t anywhere else but not tempting to me! I’d like the Sisley but can’t see any real standout wow products to make it worth that much money! Loads of fillers and small
sizes too.

I was just thinking about the SNK luxe version. I have £80 worth of points, so would of took a good chunk off for me. But, seeing the contents..
The AB Lash serum was rubbish, i dont want another one. The kitten lash mascara we got last year, so just recycling a product? I dont want a hand cream in a "luxe" ac either. Pass for me. Kilian, Oribe, and Aesop are the only things I would really want.

Yes, there’s really not much in there that feels like a proper indulgent treat, is there? I mean some good stuff but nothing that really makes you go ‘Ooh!’ I want some Ooh for £410.

Feeling a bit miffed I didn't get the special SNK email - I am a Deluxe member and have ordered and bought in store recently. Bought SNK BAC last year but not this year. Oh well - now I've seen the contents I'm not too bothered!

I wish they'd put more effort into their normal BAC rather than having 2 - it seems a very strange choice. If they'd put the Chantecaille Aesop, travel make up bag and Sisley black rose in the BAC I'd have definitely gone for it (instead of PK, CT, Naturium etc)!

Thanks for sharing, @JoRaRaRa . Got excited when I saw two AB products... and was promptly let down. They're known for their creams, so to have none is an absolute no. La Mer's oil isn't as cult a product compared to their creams, so I have a similar opinion there.

Sisley is nice and I'd be tempted if it was the usual £250 range, but not at £410.

I suppose the worth is in the perfumes? I would've expected this more as a regular luxury calendar rather than a super-premium one.

It's quite disappointing? For the money and the weird last minute announcement? Maybe if they had announced it a the same time as the standard BAC some buyers would have spent the extra for that, but it's all a bit odd. Surely they will be doing a FAC too as the luxe has hardly any.

That doesn’t seem particularly exciting to me for the price.
personally I would only really want the black rose cream, 8th day toner pads Shiseido cream and Tatcha essence.
Aside from that it feels a bit like for a lot of the brands they have gone for the one item I don’t want to try, eg, La prairie cleanser, AB eyelash serum and even the spaceNK bag being the ugly brown colour.
