I impulse bought some White Company candles at Boots recently, got suckered in by 50% off (more on some) but I don't know how the price compares with buying direct; I daren't look in case I've over paid.

Thank you ☺️ I've just caved and ordered it. My teenage daughter loves mini perfume bottles and it contains some of her favourite scents, so I am hoping we can share the calendar and I'll get those she doesn't like (I'm easily pleased 😁) or we use some for little gifts.

If anyone hears of any good discounts for men's grooming calendars, please let me know. I want to get one for my brother's birthday in November but don't want to spend too much on him 😂

I was trying to avoid getting sucked in to buying an advent calendars this year as we were supposed to be moving mid September but we still haven’t completed so I have been enjoying watching the unboxings on you tube . I could do with some nice dewy moisturisers so might order one . Was thinking Harrods’ look the best for skin care or even the Charlotte tilbury chest advent as I know I do like her serums and creams.

There'll be someone on Vinted who wants them - I've already picked up the brush and perfume!

I'm waiting on Fenwicks to be despatched and hit Vinted because there are 3 things on my Frankenstein list I need from that one 😊

Vinted has been flooded with Harrods BAC items. Ive bought quite a few items. Probably best looking on there first and seeing what everyone has set their price at.

This went straight in my basket this morning without properly reading the contents 🤣 . The full contents are on Beauty detective and there’s six 10ml sprays so I think it’s not bad value for £99 . I love a mini ( some are the same as from the LF calendar ) . The ones I don’t want will be good stocking fillers. There’s men’s as well as women’s in it .

I love that it contains the fancy mini perfume bottles (at least I hope so from looking at the photos 😂). Also love the fact that it's at 24-day calendar, as most of the FACs are only 12 days and I don't really like 12-day calendars, as I'm never sure how to use them.

I think you are meant to use the 12 day ones over Christmas for the 12 days of Christmas 🎄

Spent some time in H Beauty today trying out some of the fragrances from the Selfridges FAC and have successfully deinfluenced myself. Some of them are okay, but I don't need them (nor particularly want them tbh but it's hard to resist a bargain/treat). I tried some that were in JLFAC too and yikes. Glad I skipped it. The only one I really like from SFAC (that I've tried anyway) is the Le Labo.

In other news, I ordered the Boots x Style Korean AC this morning. I really don't need it, but I would like to try out some more K beauty and it's a pretty decent selection.

As others have said, the 12 day calendars are intended for the 12 days of Christmas, so you start on Xmas day. I always think it spoils the opening threads when people start opening 12 day calendars on 1 December.

has anyone heard anything about the Flannels fragrance crackers for this year? Im sure I’d bought mine by this time last year.
