Yes, last year I had the 12-day No7 and started opening it on Christmas 🎅 but it just doesn't feel the same to me to have an advent calendar after Christmas.

I hadn't thought about the twelve day calendars being opened on the twelve days of Christmas. I had mentally steeled myself for living with advent calendars that I must not open until 1st December but I predict I'll turn into a feral racoon in December.

I always go through and take out any DoDs so I can replace with things I’ll like! I then forget what else is in there!

@8books mine were much the same (except I wanted the Sisley lipstick but not the other lip stuff). From looking on Vinted, I think it seems that loads of people bought the Harrods BAC all wanting the same items, and not wanting specific items, which means they mostly aren’t selling. But I did manage to sell the masks and voucher, hairspray and PK products for £34 in total.

It seems to make that it might be a mistake on the part of the brand to be the items nobody seems to want in a calendar. It feels like it slightly devalues the whole brand for people who aren’t already familiar with it to see so many products that won’t sell on Vinted even for a fraction of their supposed value.

Someone offered me £6 for the perfume, but I declined. Mine is currently on sale for £20 (but I also am offering bundle discounts). I was thinking of dropping my prices, but I might instead just give them away as gifts to people who might like them.

Just got an email about a SpaceNK 12 day calendar. Anybody heard anything about this one? It’s it’s amazing I’ll be in a quandary as already bought the regular one.

Hello, long time lurker, just received an email from Space NK saying a premium advent calendar will be released on 6th October

So the current BAC is £275 for £1200 of products and this is £410 for £1500 of products. This seems an odd choice but I’m still intrigued.

Too pricey for me at this stage of the advent calendar season!

It explains them being quiet on a fragrance advent since they are launching this one.

Especially when you compare to other calendars and value. So odd, most people will have bought theirs and £410 is a heck of a lot of £££!!!

What’s the crazy in love fragrance from Harrods like?
No SNK email for me - miffed with amount I spend.

The Harrods BAC has a value of more than £1,500 and is cheaper than the standard SNK BAC 😂. I’m intrigued by this but also think it will be full of products with inflated RRPs.

I got this email too. I'll admit I'm intrigued. I suspect they're going to do a 'Brown Thomas' and have some full size fragrance in this as well as higher end skincare etc..

May also explain why the regular calendar felt like it had something lacking this year.
