I’m staying strong (so far) on not getting a calendar this year but noticed some discounts starting to filter through. Glossybox discounts are appearing on TikTok shop, Boots Skincare discount during the week (this one nearly got me) and LookFantastic are now offering a £10 voucher if you buy the BAC.

The one I would go for with a decent discount is SNK. Does anyone think we will get a discount on that one?

They've had at least a couple of years where it's sold out but if this year is selling poorly then maybe. They did discount the fragrance advent last year as I don't think that did well.

SpaceNK advent hasn't been as well received this year so I think it's possible.

There were loads of Selfridges advents in store at the bullring yesterday. I got the Beauty Kit of Dreams as I promised myself no more advents. £120 for 14 items.

Just purchased The White Company advent calendar after coming across a discount code. I’ve had my eye on this one, I do wish they had a FS autumn candle in it though.
Anyhow, as it’s technically for the home, I’m not counting this one in my spending 😁

Laucapon on instagram was unboxing the Liberty calendar (but not opening any products as she’s gifting it to charity) and she also had a leaky Reome broth. They should really just send out a fresh one (no dodgy labels!) to all online customers to avoid a bunch of late December complaints!

I am tempted by the White Company calendar as I love their candles and find they give off more scent than the Jo Malone ones I have. I probably shouldn’t though

I caved at the weekend and ordered Space NK. It’s probably my least favourite advent they’ve ever done, but I’m going to add a few things to some of the drawers and forget about it until December.

I too had been watching daily for a discount, but just decided to go for it. I watched an unboxing, and there are quite a few lovely things in it actually.

I can’t not have an advent to open on a dark and dreary December morning 🤭

@TracyBeakerSoYeah @BadgerFace @pinkchampagne1 I don’t know how popular that calendar is, whether it would be worth trying to hold out for a bigger discount, but 15% off made it a good price point for me (I think it worked out at less than £6.40 an item, but I was half asleep last night doing it).

I have only had a couple of things from there before. I went in recently to test the Amalfi Lemon room spray that’s in LF BAC, and had a good sniff at the rest of their range. I noticed DH taking a couple of “sneaky” photos of things that I was oohing over for so I figured I’d help him out and get the calendar whilst it was on offer and he can gift that to me for Christmas, unless he’s got something else in mind, in which case like I said it’s mainly for the home so doesn’t count in my spending anyway 😁

Funnily enough, they had some dupes recently in Aldi, so I bought the autumn and the fireplace (?) ones, I’m sure they will be nice but obviously won’t be as lasting

I'm really annoyed with LF. I bought the BAC for my DM, realised she wouldn't like some of the items in it so asked on here for suggestions for substitutes. I got some great ideas and have duly bought the substitutes. I have them ready for my visit this weekend so I can check the calendar and swap items. The delay to delivery means I can't.

I live overseas so it's not like I can just pop round when it arrives. I just asked CS and they were apologetic but completely unable to give any more information.
