Will try and match something/ only suggest things you'd like. @mooshkymoo I can't find anything either tbh, but I've got a Ffern perfume from years ago that's also herbal/fresh - not minty though.

Ooh, all this talk about Lola reminded me that I have a sample of this in my stash. I’ve just tried it and really like it too! I’m now wondering whether I should get the Selfridges calendar instead of F&M, as I also like the Jo Malone fragrance in Selfridges, and who doesn’t need a ridiculously expensive bee venom serum?

Knew that I was going to fall off the no beauty buying wagon during advent calendar season! 😆😬

It leans on the sweet side, but not overly sweet (less so than delina imo). Slightly vanilla, but more unusual than your typical vanilla fragrance

I’ve never had a beauty advent calendar before but I’ve just ordered the Harrods calendar for me and the SpaceNK one for DD15. It’s just the two of us, no family nearby, and I don’t think we’ll be travelling this December so we’ll be able to enjoy opening them every day. I want to buy the L’Occitane one for my housekeeper, who lives in, so she can join in the fun too.

I managed to get mine ordered, a bit of a faf as have no mobile signal to get the authentication codes but PayPal came to the rescue.

Even with the reduced sizes it is a great advent.
That is me done and dusted for advents until
the sales and even then they would need to be cracking for me to buy.

After watching a unboxing, I decided to order Selfridges. I’m overloaded on skincare, but Selfridges is light on skincare, and most of the makeup shades are good for me.

Im waiting for Harrods home and Selfridges Fac to drop on the 1st before commiting to Harrods and Selfridges beauty.

Ill be in London in 2 weeks anyway so rather pick them up in person. I have a feeling more people are holding out for it. If I canmot get those Ill get the Harrods and probably Selfridges. Really bummed out we dont have Discotheque perfumes over here so I could try

So I posted about Lola in the perfume thread when I tried it. I have never smelt a perfume like this, immediately invoked passion and I could see myself being 24,wearing a slinky dress and in a moody Munich nightclub and dancing the night away. Which I have never done,student bars and sensibly back home by 1am for me. I would expect Lola at the coat check to smell exactly like this.

Rather miffed with Harrods, preorder on 30 August for 14 September dispatch and now an email to say 30 September dispatch date! Unless I would like a fragrance calendar in future years I won’t rush to purchase.

I reordered and cancelled my preorder. It came a few days later. It's a joke, isn't it?! You preorder thinking it'll come either at the same time or before those ordered on general sale. You should do that, especially now with it being double reward points right now.

Curious to see which BAC will be the first to sell out. There isn’t a clear favourite this year. Harrods and Selfridges appear to be the most popular from comments I’ve seen online.

I have made more progress with my re-arranging the ridiculous stock I have by brand name. And I now have a neat box of Lierac products, one of my favourite brands. I decided to use them all , exclusively, until I use them all up. It will see me until April/May. I started this week and I remembered how good they are.
I will follow up with the Sisheido collection and then Sisley. So I’m good for a couple of years easily for the daily skincare and weekly treatments.
I will still use my regular Medik8 and Skinceuticals serums every day.

I definitely, absolutely don’t need and don’t want an AC this year. I can’t afford Guerlain for the luxury touch. I might get a modest AC from AromaZone for little treats I know I’d use.

Yes, it best be, I bought a load of the travel sizes of sirene from vinted last year after it was in the HN fac, but I do prefer the privee. They did also change the reveal picture to be the privee, so I'm fairly certain now it'll be that one 🤞🏻

My flights were going to be £35 to go either on the 2nd or 9th Oct. Hopefully it all goes well with PF and I won't need to take the time of work 🤞🏻
