@OvaHere - I think ‘hate panning’ might be my new favourite expression! 😹😹😹

But it's x Stylist again this year so likely a bit cheaper and disappointing. It's not been great the past couple of years, the best year was 2022 when it was Sunday Times Style but it was a higher price point.

The Selfridges FAC reveal was only ever a photo rather than a written list. I'm not convinced anyone really knows which Thameen perfume is there so I'll count that as a mini reveal.

I keep thinking this. It didn't show the name and I'm not sure where the info has come from that it's Riviere.

Just been reading a thread where one poster said her boyfriend's staunch refusal to 'work for someone else' was the 'death nail' of their relationship (death knell, presumably), and another said they had 'no business acronym'. No EBITDA for them!

Luckily as I was despairing into my coffee, my phone lit up with a text from DPD - Harrods BAC is finally coming today! Hurray! Very excited! Especially after my failed efforts at 'tweakments' last night. Tried to push the plunger on a syringe of polynucleotides and it was very stiff, so I pushed it with some vigour and the liquid shot up in the air and landed on my head. I felt very silly.

Hello all! I've been lurking for what seem like years now and decided it would be time to say hi. Last year, I was inspired by you kind mumsnetters and created a frankenstein calendar after buying a Space NK box on Vinted and most of the products being a mix of Vinted/Beauty Edits.
I've previously had JL, Liberty, M&S and Space NK but this year I'm trying to decide between Harrods BAC and Elle. I'm trying to work out if I can justify nearly £100 more for the Harrods one. I'm mainly focused on getting as much decent skincare as I can to limit my spending during the year. I was originally planning to get both (inspired by you guys) but with my daughter moving out for university I need to redirect my spending from beauty to the student set up!

I’ll maybe have another look at the unboxing tonight…I’m better at refraining from impulse purchases than I used to be.I only have the HBAC and the HFAC, so doing well..so far 😬

Currently have Liberty and Boots fragrance calendars in the house and waiting on The Fragrance Shop and Treatbox advent calendars to be delivered in the next month or so. I really enjoy the opening threads - last year I got the Liberty advent calendar as my first beauty advent calendar and particularly enjoyed all the perfumes.
I just wanted to say thank you for these threads as I love hearing about all the wonderful adventures calendars, especially the ones out of my price range

Ok I managed to register myself on the UK Vinted website. I can ship stuff to my friend who lives down the road of a parcel point lol.

Im severely debating myself if I should order another BAC or 2... or if I should just get the few bits I really want of Vinted since my 5 day ban.

Vinted is just the easiest place to sell unwanted stuff quickly so ill have to take it VERY slow and it takes an amount of time. However, i usually will make my total spend on a BAC back, sometimes small profit and have my stuff for free.

Or, ill just order de AB eye cream, the Bio effect serum and the K18 stuff online. Choices choices
