Just on the Fenwick BAC, I emailed their customer service team yesterday and they’ve come back to me today to say “We don't have an official date of when this will be on the website but it will be in the next couple of weeks.” So there is still hope!

yeah, that's what's confusing me. The prices they giver are for the 75ml and the 50ml but the bottles look much smaller in the advent picture whereas the JM and the santal look right for 30ml and 15ml.

My dh goes in to the office more often than me but, yeah there is always a danger he will be there.

Help me stop buying advent calendars!!! I have the Boots deluxe one, their skincare one, their 25 days of beauty and the OK/Hannah Martin. And I desire the M&S when available as well as the Look Fantastic and/or Glossybox. Please tell me to put my purse away and stop spending!!! (Alternatively, encourage me to buy all the lovely calendars and revel in the lovely things…..)

I get this with pillow talk. It’s supposed to be a universally flattering shade but it doesn’t suit me at all. It’s too pale and too warm toned for my skin.

@TracyBeakerSoYeah - I wish I had read your spectacular analysis of the perfumes BEFORE I had just purchased the JL FAC 😹 I do not want to smell like I have been anywhere near a wheelie bin 🙀

On a not entirely unrelated note:

Does anyone know if you can return the JL FAC unopened if you manage to smell the perfumes in store, only to find out they are mostly awful and that you have made a mistake?

but I think you'll love Carnal Flower if you like indolic scents & I promise that you won't smell like a dustbin.

I think if you haven't opened the advent you should be able to return it but check with JL customer services.

If it’s any consolation I picked up a full size of Carnal Rose at TK Maxx a short while ago and I love it despite normally disliking anything coconutty.

I just picked up the JLFAC too but I think it was driven by FOMO.

Not sure but if you want to air on the side of caution you can cancel the order and re-order with delivery to Waitrose, then just not collect…

Do you have a link to the relevant page, please, as I don't see it. It's one I was considering, although I shouldn't get it now, because I impulse-bought Cult Beauty when the code was working. I've forgotten the contents and would like to remind myself.

Woke up and bought JL FAC so apart from hopefully Selfridges FAC, that's me done.
Love @TracyBeakerSoYeah's description of By The Fireplace, I'm obviously not that classy though as to me it smells like I've just been camping for a week and hanging round a bonfire every night 😂 I still love it but probably don't need another bottle as I already have a sample, mini and full size. I'll probanly replace the one in the JL FAC with something I'm more excited to try.

They do look very small. Then I was reading somewhere (might have been on the site www.her.ie) that the Estee Lauder AdvNight repair is the 50ml. Not the 30? Can that be right? Haven’t seen that anywhere else. Guess we’ll know soon enough!

I have woken up to find I could have used the 10% JL Reward that has just landed in my account to buy the fragrance calendar😡

Does anyone know what happens if you have part-paid with a gift card received from a third party and then return/cancel? Do you get the gift card back? (I part paid with an online JL gift card I got for buying some insurance and don’t want to lose it.)

I lied about being done. Boots Skin advent is down to £56 so that's just become my Jadvent 😅
