Idly browsed to Fenwick.co.uk and the main page has the advent calendar, but it shows as sold out. How exciting/confusing. Are they re-releasing it? It can’t be sold out already.

This was one of the best ones out there and more reminiscent of where they (BACs in general) were a couple of years ago with a good selection of fragrance which is important to me. I'm not surprised if it has sold out.

I’m just not entirely sure how it would be sold out. It appeared briefly, they withdrew it, then perhaps re-released it with no fanfare and it quietly sold out?

That’s entirely possible @DidILeaveTheGasOn - but I would have thought someone on here would have spotted it somewhere.

Maybe there was a bigger problem somewhere along the line - but surely if do there would have to have been a product recall 🤷‍♀️

Speaking of mysteries: The KSC: Tidal Glow a/c releases tomorrow but they still haven’t revealed anything about the contents.

Presumably they are expecting everyone to rush to buy it sight unseen.

No doubt they are right and it will sell out within minutes, but I shan’t be joining in, as I do not want to get into paying customs fees and then trying to claim the money back.

Plus: I need time to look at the contents and ponder and I am sure there will be zero pondering time available tomorrow 🙀

I like the sound of some of the fragrances in JLFAC, but I don't think I want it enough to spend £100 on it.

In fairness, I've had a shit 6 months between the dogs, parents sick and being sick myself, so spending €700 on advents sounds reasonable. Obviously I also need to get the new lego modular when that comes out too.

I have (reluctantly) mostly decided against getting the BT advent this year, despite having a colleague willing to bring it over for me.

Overall, I think Harrods is a better fit, despite BT being the one that makes my heart beat a bit faster.

That said, I wasn’t sure I was going to buy even one this year. And so far have Libertys & the JL FAC. So who knows? 🤷‍♀️

I'm very happy with the Harrods BAC, plus a few extras off Vinted which I've added. Decided to swap everything to my empty Liberty advent box from 2024, so much more Xmasy. I've managed to cancel Sephora, had enough of waiting. I don't think I'll even buy it in the shops now.

by posting this I’m fessing up to buying the Harrods at the weekend in addition to the Space NK. In my defence I have made £188 selling the 10 items I would use on Vinted so it’s a win!

I still feel the loss of my childhood dog, she was a brilliant companion. And the dog I have now had emergency surgery a couple of years ago and the thought of losing her was horrendous, she was a spoiled little madam before but is even more so now because of it.

Re the BT BAC the main draw for me is the FDB serene, I keep thinking about it, and yet I’ve been so good resisting others (highly unlike me)
I was looking through my spreadsheet last night and DH asked if I’d bought any more, to which I replied no. His response “is that because of the massive stash you already have in them drawers?!” 🤣🤣 (little does he know there’s also a stash under our bed and in DS room 🤣)

My HBAC and the hair and body one has shipped today, it was a 30 August preorder with a dispatch date of 14 September, better late than never I guess.

You've been so patient you deserve even more advents!😁
