I have noticed that there are a bunch of New accounts with they AB eye cream on Vinted. All with the same generic usernames, a picture of the product with the same hand or part of the house. But slightly different, taken from another angle. But these dozen accounts are definately from the same source. No other products either

Yes. Be wary when buying. Look for other items from the same advent being sold and photos that include this years advent box.

Ay yay @BeanNaGealaihow awful. You are right in that making the right decision for them is the correct choice for them. But still heartbreaking whichever way you look at it.
We lost a dog this year who was very fond (obsessed with) of roast leftovers. No roast dinners being prepared here for a long time. Too hard. It’s all the little habits you miss and the cuddles and even the extra mess. We still have the mess from the other two but it’s not the same.

Yes, this one is picture everywhere. I'm going to report them for Vinted for fakes

@IlovePond That’s true. I contacted Liberty last year I thought the eye cream was defective. It was unboxed, as you said, and the applicator that’s in the regular product wasn’t there. They said it was different because "it's advent calendar stock."

Re: Harrods AC - also true. I'll mull over it a little more. I might just go for the eye cream now SpaceNK is doing 20% off - it's still almost half the calendar, but I won't have to think about how to get rid of many of the other items. I've tried selling a few beauty items on Vinted but it's a faff - and loads of low-ballers even though I try to price items for a quick sale!

@Advententhusiast @OvaHere Thanks for being so helpful and that's great advice. I've never bought beauty on Vinted before - just some second-hand things, so never been too worried.

I know perfumes fakes are in abundance, but never thought about skincare! In hindsight, I suppose this is an easy big-ticket item to fake - it's an un-fragranced white cream.

My condolences. It's so hard to make those decisions, but the fact you did it for them shows how much you love them, and I'm sure they left this world feeling so so loved. Sending you best wishes, and I hope the tough times become less tough.

I got scammed on Vinted once, I bought a drunk elephant lala retro moisturiser at a very good price. I thought it's from someone like me who received it as a gift or bought it as a bundle and wanted to get rid of it but instead it was someone who had a bunch of fake and was listing them one at the time as they were selling.
The issue is this person had very good reviews and the few bad reviews that were alerting about the fakes were buried deep under numerous great reviews. I assume the good reviews were from buyers who were not aware they were buying fakes. This person also had multiple accounts selling the same fakes and I tried my best to report them but Vinted just let them get on with scamming.
So what I do now is that I follow people and I get notifications when they upload something, and it's clear if they keep uploading the same product with the same pictures after a listing is sold.
It's also a good indicator if other items from one edit or calendar are listed as well.

Not always. I dont bother to change pics but sometimes I have multiples of the same items because its in every box. Looking at you Blue Talisman Extrait. I had 5x 7.5mls....

That is so sad @BeanNaGealai. They leave such a huge hole in our lives and hearts.

That’s why I bought the Harrods BAC. I mostly wanted to try the 2 expensive eye creams, Lyma power cream, bioeffect EGF, Medik8 serum and Cle de peau primer.

I have sold a few of things I didn’t want on Vinted for £30, so currently those expensive things I did want cost me £40 each, but this could come down if I sell a few more things.
