Medik8 PDRN was top of my list to pick up from Vinted until I checked the ingredients and niacinamide was top of the list. I made the same mistake with vieve skin nova - picked up a trial size having seen it in one of the BACs, tried it, face immediately started burning, THEN thought to check the ingredients list. Sooo annoying how many things have niacinamide in. Fair warning to anyone else who's intolerant to it (hopefully just a small minority)

I've not really become intimate with it yet but I can tell you now I like Impadia and I think I'll definitley like Brompton Immortals extrait although I still have loads of the edp from last year's FAC so not sure if its worth opening the extrait as opposed to shifting. I also like the Jo Malone - and I don't like a lot of JM so I was lucky it was that one they picke.d

The Sisley toner is good to Feb 2028, I checked on the LotDate app. I noted the Emma Lewisham as okay until 21.01.28.

@JoRaRaRa I got CB BAC with the discount so I'm guessing they'll be sending £30 rather than £49, and that's for the missing £20 voucher and the missing Escentric Molecules 10ml. Which clearly isn't missing and I'm a thief! 😁

@ElizabethG81 Well this was my first attempt and I fired it at my head so I clearly have a lot to learn, and am not in any position to be telling others about the types of tweakments available or how to do them. I think you'd be safer googling!

They have a super skin nova now came in CB advent and there was a mini in the recent SNK gwp. Has N but way down the ingredients list, I'd say much less than 1% so I'm going to give it a go. tbF though there's so many ingredients you do wonder how many of them have enough volume to be effective.

LiB have the Men's grooming advent kit available now. It has quite a bit that I would use. I'm sure I got it on offer last year.

Last year I split it for Xmas gifts and donations to a local men's hostel. I nabbed the metal eye roller for myself and still use that.

Got the Votary renewal serum and the Space NK bubble bath for £20 on Vinted. I started to search for all the different BACs and was uncomfortable with seeing folks listing the contents of entire calendars for much higher prices, but I'm not sure why. None of the calendars have sold out except the FACs. It just doesn't quite feel in the spirit of it to buy a BAC and sell everything in order to make a profit.
Why am I being surprisingly prim about this?

Leave it in your basket overnight, then look again tomorrow morning. That’s what I did and it worked for me.

I agree with you on buying and selling on a whole advent calendar for profit. It's fine to sell the items you won't use, but not the whole calendar, but that's just my opinion!

For example, there's someone on Vinted selling the Gatineau AC for £210 - it's still on the Gatineau site for its original £98!

I hate TikTok it never gives me any discounts I left mine in my basket overnight still £90😟
After thinking way too much about it . I have decided not to buy SpaceNk . I just can’t get past the £275 for it even though I think there are some nice items . They also released too late and I have spent way too much already
Instead I have bought my top 4 items off eBay for £75 and will track it to see if it reduces (or even double points might entice me)
I don’t think it helps we got such a good deal with Cult Beauty which makes SpaceNk seem even less value this year

I am currently trying to encourage DSis to complain to Liberty CS about the Sisleya and broth. I don’t see why Liberty should be let off the hook.

I’m also wondering if I should order my tea calendar now or wait in the hope of a fantastic reduction like last year’s!

@IlovePond Definitely get your sister to contact Liberty CS, they are really helpful and will replace both - in their own time though, still waiting for both of mine to arrive!
I am feeling a bit sad about the whole BAC thing at the mo, they used to be such a lovely treat but now not so. There are so many of them and I feel some are just offloading stuff.
Certainly my Liberty calendar doesn't feel as if it was put together with any care whatsoever with things just pushed in boxes and the tissue all scrumpled up at the back of the boxes in a lump.
And, yes, I think people are buying them with an eye on selling stuff from them - though why not, I suppose, if there is profit to be made.
It just all feels less of a luxurious treat somehow.

On a happier note, was it you who wanted the bag from the Liberty calendar? If you still want one then you are more than welcome to mine if you would like it. I won't use it and it seems a bit of a waste. I don't have the foggiest anout how to go about getting it to you though so please advise if you'd like it.

I was really tempted just for this until I saw it an extracted from salmon and that totally put me off.

@DidILeaveTheGasOnMy favourite Tropic product is their body scrub. Its got beautiful oils in it which remain on the skin after your shower/bath.
Another body scrub that I love, which like the Tropic has large/coarse grains, is the Rituals Hammam scrub.

SkinCycles is made in China which makes me question the quality, not Korea, not Italy, France etc which make excellent skincare but China.

She should definitely complain, it’s unreasonable to put something in that has to be used within 2 weeks. They’ve been really helpful with me. Good luck to her!
