What ballet flats are you buying for Autumn?

Considering these but they're expensive for what they are. But I want soft leather, and I like the elastic strap. Fed up of wearing trainers in the 'in between' season.

Has anyone found anything lovely?

I am looking for a slingback ballet flat if anyone can help me?

Soft leather
Slingback (elastic or buckle)
Round toe (not pointy)
Soft sole (ideally beige or white rubber flat)
nude/pale pink/gold

If I was being super picky, the slingback would be small, by that I mean the leather from the toe would run quite far down the sides before the cutout rather than a slingback strap that starts just after the toe coverage. Don't know if that makes sense.

I am pretty sure I am going to have to make these out of papier mache or something (!) because I have been looking all year with no joy. If someone does come across anything remotely like that, please please link or PM! Thanks

I just bought ponyskin ballet flats from TKMaxx. Some expensive brand with £150 off.
I can’t wear them until I’ve sprayed them with waterproofing. Possibly a stupid idea for autumn but I love them and comfy.

Those Fly ones ❤️

Yes I’ve thought most of the shoes on this thread ugly but the Fly ones are gorgeous!

I haven’t worn trainers for two years but nor have I managed to fill the gap either.

I’ve been wearing cowboy boots with no socks since the heatwave ended.

🤦🏼‍♀️ why oh why did I have to open this link?!! I needed no new boots until a few moments ago! I find PC boots always come up at least a half size bigger, did you find this with these?

No, they were actual size. You should DEFINITELY get them because they are the perfect height and fully lined which is why I’ve been wearing them sockless. (Sorry).

Thanks @LilloLil Ordering now despite owning far too many pairs very similar

I’m a repetto girl and have been since I was a teenager. But they are expensive and tbh they spend most of the year in a box under my bed because the British weather is so inhospitable.

If you want a good quality ballet pump though, those are the ones to get.

None. Last time I wore ballet shoes I was about 12 years old. Ugh…

@loveawineloveacrisp it really depends on what you'll be wearing.
Eg wideleg trousers, straight, the dreaded skinnies, skirts, jeans (and what shape jeans).

I wear either straight leg or girlfriend cut jeans. I'm thinking I might stick to trainers until it's time for the boots to come out. I've never seen so much opposition on a thread to a type of shoe! 😂 My 23yo DD also said the fitflop ones I originally posted are fully 🙁

I also have these in the green and wish I could buy them in every colour. They are without doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

I wore some ballet flats yesterday that I’d been happily wearing before summer and I felt wildly unfashionable but without knowing why. I just want shoes I can shove on quickly sometimes though.

Feeling wildly unfashionable is my default setting ... I haven't got any ballet flats at the moment but have my eyes on these

Are you able to drive in them, they always seem to pop off my heel 🙄.

I have never worn pumps before but have bought these for Autumn. I think they'll be good with wide leg, barrel leg or straight work trousers:

I wouldn't bother, by next month we will be wearing boots. If you have to have any then choose whichever styles are comfiest for you.

Now looking at Moshulu loafers. Damn you FB ads.
