What ballet flats are you buying for Autumn?

Considering these but they're expensive for what they are. But I want soft leather, and I like the elastic strap. Fed up of wearing trainers in the 'in between' season.

I just bought ponyskin ballet flats from TKMaxx. Some expensive brand with £150 off.
I can’t wear them until I’ve sprayed them with waterproofing. Possibly a stupid idea for autumn but I love them and comfy.

Yes I’ve thought most of the shoes on this thread ugly but the Fly ones are gorgeous!

No, they were actual size. You should DEFINITELY get them because they are the perfect height and fully lined which is why I’ve been wearing them sockless. (Sorry).

I’m a repetto girl and have been since I was a teenager. But they are expensive and tbh they spend most of the year in a box under my bed because the British weather is so inhospitable.

If you want a good quality ballet pump though, those are the ones to get.

I wear either straight leg or girlfriend cut jeans. I'm thinking I might stick to trainers until it's time for the boots to come out. I've never seen so much opposition on a thread to a type of shoe! 😂 My 23yo DD also said the fitflop ones I originally posted are fully 🙁

I also have these in the green and wish I could buy them in every colour. They are without doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

I wouldn't bother, by next month we will be wearing boots. If you have to have any then choose whichever styles are comfiest for you.

Thirding the converse ballet style, perfect for in between weather. I want something with a proper sole and that comes up just enough on the foot that I can wear sockettes with them. Hate wearing closed shoes without socks.

None, they are so uncomfortable and go soggy ig you step outside.

So many of these shoes remind me of school shoes worn as a child. The pointy toes make a bit more of a statement . As for socks with these things - no.

I've just brought a pair of burgundy Mary Jane square toe ballet flats from M&S. I can't find them online but I intend on wearing them with jeans and jumpers for autumn before it gets too cold and there's a need for boots. I've seen lots of people wearing that style of shoe recently and wanted an option that wasn't trainers.

I can’t wear them, or most flat shoes. It’s straight from sandals and pull on trainers to boots for me, ankle or knee high.

I have some Clarks ballet flats which are fairly comfortable and nice looking IMO, but I find that I don't reach for them often. I am currently loving my Adidas Samba Janes, though. Very comfortable, can be worn with a variety of trouser styles and skirts/dresses.

However, from autumn to spring, the shoes I tend to wear most often to work are loafers. Trainers at weekends.

I care not for fashion, but love a ballet flat, I wear them year round, I favour a Russell&Bromley Charming Ballet Pump, I have a plain black quilted pair, camel quilted with black toe pair and a very loved and cherished pair of leopard print calf hair with black toe pair that are apx 8 years old and I will cry when eventually die, but I had them resoled last year at the eye watering cost of £70
