Fugazzi passionfroudh for me today, I love it 😍 it's quite strong though and I'm having a chill day at home today. I don't tend to go for such loud fragrances when I'm just at home, they seem to bring on a headache.

Yesterday, we took the dog on her first proper hike since the op. We have a sling for her and she needed carrying a few times. She enjoyed the ham I gave her from the sandwich I bought in the cafe halfway round, then when the heavens opened, we put her in the sling and power walked back. So today, we're letting her rest and hopefully she'll be up for a little walk in the morning.

SOTD Mugler Alien extra intense. It just came in my Look Fantastic subscription so I’m giving it a go!

I like the jasmine top note so far. But it is quite sweet so we’ll see if that persists or dries down.

Blind bought phlur honeymoon in space nk whilst away for my anniversary, very appropriate. There's a jo malone and penhaligon's here but I have resisted!

I remember this one last year, liked it.

SOTD Kayali Candy Rock Sugar from a sample and may have accidentally on purpose ordered a full bottle as I had some CB credit and a £5 voucher and it was already 20% off so would have been rude not to. It’s very sweet but that’s the sort I like at the mo. I also think it’s one of their stronger ones which is good.

Next SOTD when I wanted to top up was VS Bare Sueded Vanilla again which layers well with the candy rock sugar.

I’m still quite liking it, a few hours in. The jasmine has mostly gone.

Miller harris scherzo for an evening out for anniversary dinner. Haven't tried the honeymoon yet as I am saving it for tomorrow.

Ten years with Mr. Rainbows still going strong...

He also got me some gorgeous purple glass beads. I don't see beaded necklaces around much these days so its a bit unusual. Love them.

Tried honeymoon, luckily like it as it was a blindish buy ( tester had run out).
Also found myself in penhaligon's today and got the bestsellers sampler set.

Two that i enjoyed wearing recently, Floraïku sand and skin. very comforting scent, lovely.Thameen peregrina. very nice but no matter how much i sprayed it didnt project enough for my liking.

To all the posters who take the time to write a review of their perfumes, thank you. It's a great read and you all capture the scent so well. I have taken more interest in the perfume notes since joining the forum and really enjoy picking up the different notes throughout the day, something I didn't pay very much attention to before.

Tried Halfeti from the penhaligon's sampler and was pleasantly surprised, didn't think id like it from the description but its saffron heavy which is a favorite note.
Also tried luna- too soapy, duchess rose- ok but don't love and va va voon- surprisingly nice , has citrus notes.

I used to be into penhaligon's but went off them, maybe time for a renaissance.

Abel Laundry Day yesterday. Lovely sparkling citrus, but was gone in less than 2 hours. Such a shame.
Today is Sana Jardin Air of Aquarius. Reminded me of 4711 cologne at first. It’s a fresh light floral with a bit of citrus. Will be nice when the weather is warmer.

SOTD Kayali Candy Rock Sugar again but I always switch half way through the day and now covered in VS bare sueded vanilla 🤣 It has now overtaken Sunlit vanilla as my fav vanilla scent.

I think everyone on here goes for more niche scents than me…the only niche one I’ve loved in recent years is Dirty Milk which was thanks to one of you recommending the CB edit. I feel like bare sueded vanilla is along similar lines (although not the same) and maybe that’s why I like it so much.

SOTD is Phlur Honeymoon again. Will try some more of the penhaligon's later.

My JHAG banana rush loving friends - beware! Bee-ware even. I have heard it has a chemical in it that makes bees go crazy and prone to stinging. It's not quite summer insect season but one to be careful of if you go out wearing it. Apparently there's a banana aromachemical that's like catnip to bees - but not in a good way. May have to stick to just wearing this as a bedtime scent (in winter, with windows firmly shut)

SOTD yesterday was PDM Oriana, I thought the sweet, indulgent scent was perfect for Easter. I love it, it's girly but elegant too.

SOTD today was Guerlain Ambre Samar, this one, I wanted something quite elegant and fun but a little bit special as it was my nephew's 18th birthday and we went out for a big family meal and then bowling. I feel like this perfume works for almost everything 😍

Sote is montale rendezvous chez harrods. I want to get into montale as a house more and have been lusting after a discovery set. Also tried the banana Rush again, no bees here tonight.

SOTD is my much beloved La Prairie Life Threads Platinum which is a fabulous chypre.

I was a devotee of Dioressence but that was bought for me by a long-ago lover and it felt a bit wrong to wear that when I met and then married my husband. So I needed to find something else. I ended up at House of Fraser and the woman at the La Prairie counter understood, saying ‘I want to smell like an adult woman not a piece of fruit’. She introduced me to Life Threads Platinum and I was instantly sold!

Sadly they disconned it years ago. I have one bottle which I eke out. I did buy 4 when it was disconned, it was my everyday scent and what my then young, now teen, child associated most closely with me.

It’s insanely expensive on eBay if one ever appears.

But today it’s out and I feel very settled.

Tried sisley eliya today which was in the john lewis scent box, surprisingly nice, fresh, springy.

Also laboratories olfactive tonkade which is like a gentler version of tobacco vanille.
