Toasties springing into Spring 🌼

As promised, here is the new thread. All are welcome to chat about all things Toast, znd any related topics!

I bought the same dress (arrived today - very creased 🙄 but will keep it). I hadn’t spotted the neat sweaters though so quickly went online and ordered two - forest and night sky. I like the neat jumpers and also size up.

Very pleased with my order, I’m keeping all of it. The only item I was unsure of, the old gold silk/cotton top is beautiful and I wish I’d ordered the navy too!
Also finally had my dispatch email for the second order.

Still no dispatch for me either @IlovePond and I ordered Thursday afternoon.

It’s so annoying @Primrosespaw - I do think Toast’s delivery is getting worse. I know it’s not exactly a jumper emergency, but I am feeling grumpy about it just the same!

I’m getting increasingly doubtful that an Easter sample sale is on the cards. Having said that, Toast do have form for announcing them with only a couple of days notice.

I missed the one in autumn last year, so would really like one at some point soon!

I bought these last week when I was in Edinburgh. Not a planned purchase as popped in the shop as it started to rain, but love love love them- best pockets ever.

@ShanghaiDiva - you could fit a lot of things in those pockets!

Have decided to keep the neat jumper in Forest Marl from my unwise sale splurge and send back the rest. Now I can go back to stalking the black Carys linen cotton trousers I was about to put in my basket before said sale splurge.

@ScallopShellWalk those curtains look lovely.
@IlovePond was thinking about a SM sample today - I’m hoping for one on the weekend beginning Friday 10th April 😁 as I’m off to Cairo this week until the 7th. Would be a real treat to come back to one!

@faustina the curtains are cotton.
I came across an image of them on the instagram pages. I liked them a lot but never thought I’d see them. We need curtains for one new window so it’s good timing. my dh likes them too so they will be staying. I’ll try post the image from the website.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout wondering if you liked your curtains?

I didn’t get any dispatch email for my last 2 orders and I’m away on Friday for 2 weeks. I don’t think I’ll get to see them before I go.

@ScallopShellWalk I bought two pairs as well. Had a play with them this evening and I’m really pleased with them, lovely colour, and the rod pocket is nice and wide. DH is going to help me put the pole up tomorrow.

I could go if one was announced for the w/end of 3/4 but not the 10/4! I wish Toast announced its sample sales in a timely fashion like a normal company 🤷‍♀️

@Theteapotsbrokenspout that’s great you like your curtains too. You’ll be enjoying yours up before we do, We need to buy a curtain pole still. Will you double yours up on one window too? Was a nice surprise find.

I have - finally - received a shipping notification for my order last Thursday.

I received a shipping email for my reworn hat order from Thursday evening. Still to receive for my jumper ordered Saturday morning.

3rd and 4th is Easter so unlikely to be that weekend.

@PrincessofWells - it was held over the Easter weekend two years ago and I remember being surprised that they were open on GF, but last year it was in March!

Really! I didn't know that, but presumably Good Friday and Saturday.

Fingers crossed for one soon anyway 🤞

I just received my swing sale parcel of the night sky neat cashmere wool sweater. I really like the flecked black, although it does slightly look like I have a bad case of dandruff or washed it with a tissue. I ordered both L and XL (normally M but hate anything too fitted). There isn’t much difference in size, and weirdly the sleeves on the XL are almost two inches shorter than the L. I need to have a try with something other than my pj bottoms (wfh today!), but I think I might keep the XL.
