Anyone also crazy about this Dune bag?

I know it’s very similar to the Bottega Venetta Hop.

I saw it for the first time yesterday, they’ve got some lovely colours and I’m especially inclined towards either the light brown or the blush pink. Reviews on their website are good but would love to hear any MNetters opinions, especially those who have the bag!

Dune sales assistants are known for saying things are leather when they’re not! They’ve been doing it for years!

If the original wasnt Bottega V but M&S , would you still pay that money for a woven plastic copy. . .?

BTW M&S do have a really good looking larger weave version . . .

I have this bag OP! I bought it in November from M&S who sell the Dune label. I got it in the original dark chocolate colour too - the one that Bella Hadid was spotted wearing! The bag is alright, nothing special but it’s roomy and practical and looks nice. Nice bag but nothing to write home about.

I have the bag in cream it's so soft, however the base inside the bag is not sealed to the edges ( meaning coins or anything small can go underneath obviously not drop out I just throw loose change and and have to dig it out but it's roomy with a purse inside so maybe I should use that!

I'm with pp who have stated they don't like the woven look. It's definitely a matter of taste though & wise to ask for general opinions before forking out for it.

They do. They use a script to automatically convert all links to affiliate links. I think it’s Skimlinks they use.

It’s why they rearranged the site to push the “shopping” section not long ago, as it’s where they’ll be making the most money now so they want us all clicking on the shopping threads and clicking links/buying

Thanks @Papayatropicsyou have cost me a fortune as I’ve bought the bag. 😄 It’s really lovely and I’m not worried about the weave getting grubby. It’s very soft and I like the slouchy shape.

I don't like pleather, but what do you expect to pay for a bag? 130 is not a large amount of money for a bag from that shop. It always surprises me that people expect things to be dirt cheap.

Dark brown. Was tempted with other colours but that’ll get the most use.
