If they end up cancelling my order I will take it as a sign it wasn’t meant to be and will wait for another gwp to come along before buying.

Its not whether they cancel the order, it's whether they process the refund. I had to wait 2 weeks with multiple, daily nagging of useless cs!

It's very poor service for a supposedly luxury store.

Speaking of which I had a poor experience with Chanel a while back. I ordered a lipstick then a few days later got an email to say there was a stock error and it was actually out of stock. I had to chase for a week and a half almost to get a refund. They ignored every email and message through the contact form. Eventually only got the refund by starting a dispute with PayPal. Once I'd done that it was refunded in less than an hour.

I'd expect better customer service from chanel.
Its like they dont want customers 😳

The weather is (finally!) getting warmer, so I fancied something brighter today. I’m trying Mandarin Carnival from the Merchant of Venice trial kit. Really liking it so far, it could be a nice easy reach for spring & summer I think. It’s not super fresh; it’s a little musky. Very safe, pleasant, easy going. Reminds me a little of LBTY Maze.

SOTD is CH very good girl elixir. Don't know why I fancied this one, an oldie, when I have so many new. Just did! Sometimes I like to wait to open new stuff to draw out the anticipation a bit, today must be one of those days.

I’ve just opened my full sized CH GG blush from the mystery box at Christmas. I’m having a GG moment it seems

My parfum muse order came with a big bag of freebies. The BDK set I ordered has a different item to the one advertised so that will be going back. I also ordered some other perfume, the elie saab love elixir which is a lovely cherry-rose. I got 2 x elie saab 10ml a your turn a goldfield and banks pacific rock flower and a hand cream and shower gel in the goodie bag - so 4 x frag and 2 x body products. Not bad.

Mandarin carnival didn’t last very long on me, which I suppose is somewhat expected for a citrus scent. I’m trying Andalusian Soul today. The first thing it made me think of was custard! It’s nice, although it’s gone a little funky on my skin. Maybe it’s the incense note that I’m finding a little off-putting!

Vanilla Powder matiere premiere tonight. I had a bath and felt like something cosy and warm scent wise, which this is.

I've been wearing Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka for most of today. Just after lunch, I fancied Kilian Love, don't be shy, but accidently picked out gggb instead which I wasn't really feeling. Finished off the day going back to Jo Malone 🤎

I'm going to really try tomorrow to pick out a fragrance that I've not worn for ages.

SOTD for the last couple of days has been Vyrao Ludatrix. Really enjoy this one. It's a lovely rose scent but with an edge. Slightly rubbery note but somehow it works.

SOTD was Rona Elysium. I can’t remember which AC or edit this was from but I tried it on a paper test strip yesterday and liked it. On me though there’s a soapy element to it. It may be better in summer.

Gone with an old favourite today. Dior Libre. Long day at work, hope it lasts the distance! Not home until 7ish tonight

SOTD is Burberry Goddess, feels appropriate for a cosy day at home. DH seems to really like this one but it's a like not a love for me - it seems to get a bit sickly as the day goes on.

Yesterday Spring was definitely in the air, but it's disappeared today - not time to break out the green scents yet!

SOTD is Bibbi Vanilla Factory. On me this smells like the love child of Fugazzi’s Vanilla Haze and Angel Dust. Smoky woods and vanilla. Lovely!

SOTD is Amouage Guidance as my order arrived safely from Harvey Nichols earlier.

SOTD is miller harris scherzo. After years of being on the fence about rose, I'm finally beginning to get into it. This is a lovely deep rose scent with a touch of oud.

My harvey nichols order did arrive at store, so I'm going to pick it up later. It is mostly for selling on but I will possibly keep a couple of the initios, oud for greatness for sure. Plus of course I get the lovely goodie bag

This one smells like wet cardboard on me for the first 45 mins .Afterwards its mostly pleasant.

Ludatrix is SOTD. I like a lot of Vryao scents.

I managed to talk myself out of the GB Mother’s Day edit. I’m not keen on Electric Rhubarb and I’ve got a travel sized Commodity Juice so I really don’t need it. I’m waiting for a decent edit, not sure the CB one will tempt me either.

Andalusian Soul settled into a lovely creamy vanillic scent, with a fairly subtle projection but great longevity - I could still smell it when I went to bed! This has been quite a testing week work-wise, so today I went for a familiar, comforting scent - Vilhelm Dear Polly 💛

Very good girl, I'm definitely in a rosey/ cherry/ fruity stage.
