SOTE is Fragrance du bois Lucius. One of the few citrus forward scents I really like. It's got something in the dry down that stops it being too sharp, and makes it rather yummy.

Managed to shift a few of the PDM from the set - I need to shift half really to make it worth it. On reflection it wasn't that great a deal, so little fragrance for so much. Would have been better with the 10ml sizes but then again, a good opportunity to try the range. (these are all 5ml). Plus I got a lovely travel case with it, and a perfume tile and some other goodies for free.

Hi everyone, excited to join this thread. I have enjoyed reading the older threads so much. I don’t wear perfume everyday but would love to post when I do. SOTD is Memo Madurai. Best way to describe it is very creamy! It’s such a lovely floral. I kept getting whiffs of it nearly 10hours later. I received this in the Harvey Nichols advent calender. I really liked the variety even though it was all travel size, i was introduced to some now favourites.

I need to give this another try. I sprayed it once but found it very masculine. I’m going to try again with this fragrance. I feel I give up too easily after one spray and declare its not for me. This thread has taught me to give scents a few more tries before I give up on it!

I have decided to pass on the HN GWP, it’s not like me but I am trying really hard with the low buy and I’ve shifted all the travel sizes I was selling so I don’t want to undo my virtuous work 😁

SOTD was the Valentino from Debenhams and SOTE has been original Good Girl

I like that one. My favorite memo.

Diptyque Fleur de Peau today. It’s a powdery musk and I like it very much.
Will be at an airport tomorrow, so looking forward to a bit of testing!

JoRaRaRa · 22/02/2026 22:42

My SOTD has been tiziana terenzi dorade, really liking this one now 😍

TheFutureIs · 23/02/2026 07:04

SOTD is my new favourite Louis Vuitton Stellar Times.
First day back at school needed something to make me feel cocooned in beautifulness!

QueefofSheena · 23/02/2026 07:45

SOTD is Air of Aquarius. I was thinking about selling it on untried but I’m glad I opened it as there was a sticky residue on the cap. It’s nice, but it’s not going to be a favourite.

IDontHateRainbows · 23/02/2026 08:46

Sotd is byredo mojave ghost absolu. Love this one. Bottle has gone down surprisingly fast considering its in competition with 99 or so other perfumes each day. It is a beautiful scent and one i regularly return to.

Vanilla Haze Extrait for me today. I hated this when I first got it and put it away for a few months, then when I tested it again, I loved it! V weird. I’d like to try the Eau de Parfum for comparison.

Hope you’re going somewhere nice @RoseTeaLady! Enjoy the spritzing!

SOTD is Amouage Guidance from the Hearst box - wish I had never tried this as I am in love and now need to find a way to a bottle without paying full price.

JoRaRaRa · 23/02/2026 10:28

SOTMorning is Boadicea Lannosea. This one is so beautiful and invigorating on a morning. I needed something to give me energy and zing and this one certainly does 💛

It's on my list too after my friend gave me her mini from the 2024 Harrods frag calendar. Very expensive though. I'm sure I did see it reduced a while back on one of the discount sites. Can't remember which Hogies/Boop/Allbeauty. It sold out quickly. I was tempted but reduced price was still close to £300.

Not to tempt you but found a 20% code for Harvey Nichols and had £6 credit on my account so £250 plus the gift with purchase which I will sell to offset my outlay.

I love it but it is strong - have had comments in the office in a way that made me feel self conscious. I am the world's worst oversprayer to be fair...

My cult beauty order with Alto Astral has landed, waiting for when I get home. I need to put the breaks on as I've been buying a lot of full bottles recently what with my birthday and all the deals. I offset with the GWPs to get heavy subsidy for myself but it's still money I shouldn't be spending, well not quite as fast. I tend to use my salary to pay for purchases, then list the GWPs or items from discovery sets on Ebay and use the money that for day to day living to get me through the month to pay day! It's like a challenge each month to get through but I haven't failed yet!

Good find. Not sure I can justify it right now but shall ponder.

MrsBnow12 · 23/02/2026 12:36

For anyone contemplating Harvey Nichols, this code takes 20% off and think it’s still valid for one more day.

It won't suprise anyone to hear that Alto Astral is my sote, its a wonderful clean slightly sweet aldehydic scent with a touch of coconut. Very unusual. Can see it being good in summer and quite refreshing although it's good now in cold, dark February

Beware Harvey Nichols if ordering online, they still haven't despatched my initio order which i got ordered to store, so no money taken as they would with delivery to home, and I have canceled it as went to the store yesterday, but they are rubbish/ crap cs and often lose things. I had a proper stress out when they lost my AC and wouldn't refund for ages. I only order to store now, and they can't even get that right.
