Meno. Peri. Not insulting you as dont know your age but peri can start late 30s in some people. Even earlier in some but 🥰
My smell/taste changes daily and I 100% think it's down to meno.
My mood can as well 🤣

Maybe, although for sunshine im more into tropical notes and white florals.

Summer seems a very long way away but it was light still at 4.45 when I went outside and I had the first 'its getting lighter later' moment of the year.

I had the opposite, my step dad took me and my dog to the vets and I said to him 'it's dark already and it's only 3:20'.

Maybe you're feeling a bit dirty then and craving some kitchen cleaner 😉🤣

Tonight’s scent is Ataratma Rati Patchouli. It has none of the sharpness patchouli can sometimes have and it's not at a statement scent. It's warm, gentle and almost cocooning, especially lovely after a bath. It’s calming, comforting and quietly indulgent, making it ideal for winding down before bed 🥰🌙

Amouage guidance tonight. Soft, sweet and slightly spicy. Smells expensive!

I had to ask the vet for one. She said we dont usually bother as they tend not to damage them. Just lick around. 🙄🤔👍

Testing ex nihilio blue talisman extrait from the autumn liberty scent kit. Looking at the reviews and notes think I’d prefer the OG as apparently it’s more airy and fresher but this is nice. I got a surprising bubblegum(?) opening at first but it’s settled down. This isn’t a love due to the white florals in this but I like the fruitiness of it. This isn’t a very me fragrance but I think I’ll use it a couple more times before deciding if I’m going to pass it on.

Decided I don’t really like it. It’s too strong and ‘perfumey’ for me. I’d probably think it’s nice on someone else but it’s just not the type of fragrance I like to wear. It’ll be gifted.

Gone for the sweeter side today with Oriana which is a lovely sweet fruity scent.

Still into heavier, gourmand scents this time of year, think the citrus cravings yesterday were a one off although it did entice me to crack.open the lucius, which i enjoyed much more than anticipated and is now a new acquaintance.

I went to sleep last night with a plan to try out one of the perfumes I received in a guerlain sample pack. But I woke up really fancying gris Charnel. So obviously to make it more cosy for wfh and the dog, I've layered it with you Doux 😍

I might open the guerlain pack later 😊

Sotd matiere radical rose

SOTD killan - I dont need a prince to be a princess and like all killian scents ive found its very strong at first so shall have to see how it settles over the day. Anyone else like/use killian?

I have a little collection of mini dabbers on my desk at work and have reached for flowerbomb tiger lily. I love that they are so used to me with my perfumes in this office that I can do this without feeling silly - I couldn't in the bigger office I work from sometimes. Sometimes it will spark a 'what's that' conversation (in a good way) which is better than talking about budgets, or projects all the time.

Abel laundry day. Think this is the last one to test from the kit. Was expecting to hate this considering the name but actually I don’t. Well, I don’t think I’ve found a new love but the opening is a very freshly cut grass. I then got a lot of lime and now it really does remind me of fresh laundry, that was washed with a lime detergent, drying outside on the line when the grass has been freshly cut. No idea what occasion I’d reach for this.

SOTD finally finished the Beauty Pie Vanille Nue! Really liked it, it was a good office-friendly scent; all of the Beauty Pie frags are good vfm but as I don’t have a subscription I won’t repurchase yet. Now to work through some of the decants and samples I’ve amassed.

Decided to send back the set of dear polly I ordered from Liberty as the frag kits of 4 are down to £72 each, so girl maths says I can get one for free if I factor in the dear polly refund, sell a few to pay for the other one and that means I'm virtually cost neutral. The tana meadow is in there, plus modest mimosa and musc ravageur. Would probs sell the others.

the only one I really like is apple brandy. Roses on ice nice, but more for summe.

The princess one has a stupid name so I'm against it on that basis alone.

I love Angels Share, love don’t be shy and I don’t need a prince… not worn them for a while so going to douse myself in I don’t need a prince when I get home for my post shower bedtime scent 🤣

I saw the liberty kits @IDontHateRainbows in person. They look very nice, not quite a lot bargain but very few curveballs - so useable/ sellable
