Delina from the HN Advent Cal. Expected it to be predominantly rose, but the rhubarb is very strong so far.

Trying Versace Crystal Noir from the LF advent. I like it in theory but it’s got the same underlying sharp, synthetic note that I’ve noticed in the couple of other Versace fragrances I’ve tried. Don’t know what it is, but it’s potentially a bit headache inducing. Luckily it’s a dabbler bottle so no risk of over-spraying.

Hand 1: delina exclusif

Hand 2: ariana grande mod vanilla. An underestimated gem. Light vanilla with a touch of fruit.

I thought I'd try out Sana Jardin Air of Aquarius tonight from the January Liberty beauty box. I'm not sure whether I like it or not. Someone suggested that it was more of a spring scent so I think I'll put it away and try it again in a few months.

I haven't tried that yet but it didn't look to be my thing and I'm not really a fan of SJ. I may keep it unopened and gift it to someone. I'd imagine resale value is minimal.

Temp at work I'd been working with is leaving so I gave her some perfumes as a goodbye gift, some left over from the christmas haul. I know she likes perfume. Love doing stuff like that.

I actually like it now that it's settled. It's like a very soft floral with a slight citrus, it's light and clean but not soapy. I think it will be perfect for spring / summer 😍

I ordered a sample of Dior bois talisman and am very disappointed - smells vinegary 😬😕

PDM althair tonight. This is a 'masculine gourmand' not valI like to gender perfumes but that's what fragrantica said. It's lovely. Quite sweet but not sickly and with some spiciness. Not sure I'd want more than the small sample I've got and it's not my favourite PDM but I do like it.

I've sold pretty much all the PDM countdown calendar except for the few I wanted to keep - delina rosee, delina exclusif, valaya, valaya exclusif, althair. Went reallly quickly so this is a popular brand.

My SOTE is a really old sample. At least 10 years old that I found in my drawer. Botrytis by Ginestat. Was discontinued years ago and has lost most of its smell. Used to be a favourite but I was eking it out. Made of wine allegedly and is a gorgeous honey, spicy vanilla.
I also made the mistake of popping into Selfridges to see what was left in the sale. I am now the proud owner of a Le Labo 5 piece discovery kit. https://www.selfridges.com/GB/en/product/prod_R04519240. I only wanted to try the eucalyptus. But the lovely salesperson also added another 6 different samples into the bag as well.

I accidentally gave my 10ml Delina away. A friend came to see me, I asked her if she liked it on me, and said "I've kept it out to see if you want to try it." I meant for her to have a squirt there and then (and me keep it) but she replied 'Oh, thank you so much!" and put it in her handbag. It seemed churlish to say "That's not what I meant. Give it back!"

So now I'm trying to convince myself that I didn't like it that much anyway. I'm not keen on rose, after all, but it seems quite rhubarb-forward on me, and I love rhubarb.

un jardin sur le nile just because the sample was in my bag this morning. Perfectly lovely but nothing too different from what I already have. Green tea is the same sort of vibe for much cheaper so don’t feel the need to get this. Sample is lasting a while though.

@HolidayHattiethis is happened to me before but with a beautiful lamp I bought in Istanbul 😂 my family member showed it to her but in a ‘ooh look how nice this is’ way and she grabbed it and was bowled over by how thoughtful the gift was and I didn’t have the heart to take it back. It really was a nice lamp.

See, I'd let a lamp go but no way any delina!

I did say, "It's expensive so, if you don't like it, I'll have it back." Don't want her chucking it or passing it on.

SOTM is pdm meliora. It's not my favourite but I still really like this one but I've decided that it's too strong and nice for wfh 🤔

My SOTD today is roses on ice - killian. Im very much rose fan and this one is a much stronger boozy rose scent but will see how it fares over the course if the next few hrs. Can any of u lovely ladies recommend me some roses perfumes to try please. I have this one, rose prick by Tom Ford and fhe cheapy but a favourite of mine Paul Smith rose
