I think ill wait until ive been in space nk and smelt it. Not selling too low. Would probably then like it and have to rebuy it but would end up spending more 🤣

Gris Charnel today from the little dabber which is sitting on my desk at work. May have to wash it off in a bit as i'm meeting some people who don't work here and who don't know me!!

I haven't bought any perfumes for personal use in the last, oh, 2 days since I said I was stopping. I bought a box of travel size ones on ebay to sell on so that doesn't count. Of course, they may not all sell in which case I'll have to keep some.

I have not spend any on perfume so far this year, happy with that. But I did same last year, it's nice to stop for some time and appreciate/get to know the stash I have.

SOTD Blanche Bête Les Liquides Imaginaires - Love this - vanilla milky creamy - perfect cold weather. Got it during the last beauty event at liberty - think its this Thursday they have 20% off fragrances which is dangerous when I also have beauty drop credit that has built up……

PDM Oriana - fellow perfumistas I have a confession to make, I've managed to use up the whole thing since I opened it at christmas - it's a 10ml -er but still....

Does anyone else wonder what Selfridges are going to do with the ridiculously overpriced byredo advent calendars which they can't have sold many of. IIRC there were several of the same scent in there, they focused on their popular ones like mo ghost and BDA. I can't imagine for £650 they will have sold many. They are still listed at full price so they aren't selling them off Harrods style either.

So valaya is extremely long lasting on me. I showered this morning and could still faintly smell it and its still quite strong on the sleeves of the top I wore yesterday. I’m quite surprised by that. It is pleasant but not something I’d rp. I’ve decided I will be selling the strawberry from the space nk advent, just might hold on to it while longer as would need to price low or perhaps it may make a nice gift for someone. I’m also contemplating selling the ds durga pistachio. Any opinions on this? Aside from that I’m going to choose another fragrance the liberty scent kit. I’m really enjoying it.

@paristotokyo the autumn liberty scent kit was great if that is what you are opening. A surprise one to like for me was the flora danica. It’s lovely.

I have mixed feelings on the pistachio. I usually love nut scents and I dont dislike it but its patchouli heavy. Do you like patchouli?

Like many ds and durga its a 'interesting, wear once in a while' scent for me rather than one Id reach for frequently.

Don't expect to get much for them on vinted or ebay as due to the ACs there's a glut of them. May be better to give as gifts if you don't want them.

@Lurkingsharkyep the autumn one! That was the next one I was going to try :) thanks @IDontHateRainbowsyes they are being sold quite cheaply. Great for anyone that loves it, I guess. I suspect it’s not one for me but as it’s so cheap to sell it’s maybe worth a try instead.

My SOTD today is la bomba Carolina hererra my first time trying fhis from a mini I picked up from vinted that place is dangerous to browse for perfumes im now the proud owner of several minis 🙈. Jury for me is out on this one very pretty bottle and scent is nice but to me smells a bit 80s OTT and thats not my preference at all. I shall see if it settles in next few hrs

I'm wearing radical rose by matiere premiere today I don't really go in for seasonal scents or scents for tines of the day I just wear what I feel like wearing when I feel like wearing it

Sotd dedcool taunt again today. Not very strong so will top up throughout day x

SOTD is valaya exclusif which I got a 5ml of with the countdown calendar. I'm wearing it in the 'perfume safe' office where they know me and some fellow perfume lovers here who may want a spritz. I'd say this is the 'winter valaya' being a bit heavier and creamier than normal valaya which is may be more for spring.

Liberty 20% off perfume day on Friday and I have a £20 voucher which would be a drop in the ocean on most things really but if the small sets of 4 travel size get reduced I'd be tempted.

I like the sound of both Valayas and will have a spray next time I’m near a counter.
SOTD is Fugazzi Angel Dust. Powdery, amber musk. Lasts all day and nice for winter.

I have a 10ml of Sana Jardin Berber Blonde if anyone would like it? Tested once. Too orange blossom heavy for me.

Positive feedback from the office ladies on Valaya Exclusif! I also have the delina exclusif with me as the 2 little 5mls from the set came in a little box which is quite travel friendly.

I think I'm getting advent calendar withdrawal symptoms - wonder what is next in terms of perfume boxes etc as it won't be long before some new ones come out surely.

Tried the flora danica turn the page. It’s an interesting one, not what I expected. It’s initially a big burst of green notes and freesia but does settle into a non-sweet vanilla type of scent. A bit like eau duelle maybe. Will see how it develops over the next few hours. I have to try it a couple more times to form an opinion on it I think. Not an instant love but a like on initial test. So that’s 3 I’ve tried from the scent kit so far and they’ve all been nice. However I’ve noticed there’s a LBTY 1875 in there though which I may keep in its wrapper to sell or pass on as it has too many notes I actively dislike (jasmine, tuberose and ylang ylang) so there’s a very high chance I won’t like it.

Sampled Meliora. OK, not my fave. Getting white floral + blackberry notes. I'll see if I can shift it, not a problem to keep if I dont.
