M&S beauty advent calendar opening thread

Back to M&S after a couple of years off for me this year, I don’t think that we have a thread already?

Usual rules apply, no spoilers before 7am, looking forward to tomorrow! 🎄

My nails painted last night ready for a night out tomorrow. Love the colour, hope they don’t chip easily!

Today's will be useful - I have fine wavy hair and it's worth trying anything! Will probably use in my gym bag.

I need to check if it’s sulphate free as I have the keratin treatment on my hair so need to be careful about shampoo. This is why the wow was great last year as I could use it!

This is useful for weekends away etc. I suspect we’ll get the matching conditioner too at some point!

I opened today's before I went away fotr work and brought it with me, used it this morning and really like it. I hope we do get the conditioner.

I also have very thick hair, but just past my shoulders - will try it when I’m on a short holiday!

Really happy with today's shampoo. I've used their other products and they are excellent so I have high hopes for this one. Plus perfect size for washing my hair after swimming

Hopefully tomorrow as I want to try it as a set!

Just found this thread. Favourite so far is the nail polish (for yoga toes as per a PP), and I like the shower oil too but find it doesn’t go very far.

I have thick wavy hair so not sure about the shampoo, it might do in an emergency.

Gave the shampoo a try this morning and I like it, will pop it in my work travel bag!

Shampoo today is good for me as I have fine hair, will probably keep it for trips away next year!

Ah shampoo not for me as I have very long very thick wavy hair - think bushy and dry!

However both DH and DD both quickly asked for it as they both have fine hair so it's a win in our house - just not for me!

I would like something skincare to come up soon!

DD (18) just came in and asked where I got the super fancy shampoo so I'm assuming I will need to hide it 🤣

I have 3 teenage DDs so I hide stuff too 😂 But the stuff I don’t like (like day 1 scent) can be nice stocking fillers.

Door of doom for me this one, again shampoo is a chore product and my scalp too fussy to try a random too often.

Great day for me fine flat thin hair definitely sums up my hair so expecting great things but will hang on to see if we get a conditioner before I roadtest
@buzzing your nails look amazing not sure I will be able to recreate such a professional finish but seeing your photo has tempted me to give it a try this weekend

I tried the oil in the bath today and my skin feels nice.

love the shampoo bottle and will use this.

Joining this thread today to share in the fun. My shampoo from today will go into my gym bag, handy for post workout shower.

Used the shower oil yesterday too and was nice. Wasn’t sure if I wasn’t washing it off properly or if it’s supposed to feel slightly oily. I liked it anyway.

My favourites so far are the shower oil (I used it as suggested above as a kind of post shower oil) and the shampoo. I haven’t tried the shampoo yet but it’s a great size for our annual festival trip (we glamp so hair gets washed most days) and I’m assuming the conditioner will follow. I need to put in my festival drawer or I will forget!

DD has nicked the perfume and the nail varnish by the looks of it. I’m fussy on perfume and have gels so I’m happy to share.

Today’s offering is underwhelming

Came on to say exactly that.

My DD will probably use it. It’s a bit uninspiring.

Boring but useful. Although have 3 similar ones, great for combing through conditioner.

Today’s is just rubbish! Feels like something you would get in the Zoella advent calendar.
