Why thank you @BakeOffRewatch, are you joining us too? I really can't remember who bought what now - we've been discussing it so long and must have all purchased these at least 2 months ago. I'm very excited now though suddenly and it's taking all my willpower not to sneak a look at day one 😂

Happy December Everyone! I've just opened day one and it's a full-size Laura Mercier mascara, so not the most exciting of days perhaps, but useful for most - I can only really wear tubing mascara so will pass this on to a friend I think - has anyone used this before?

I had also put a freebie from the H beauty event in today's drawer due to my difficulty with mascaras, so I'll be trying a Trinny eyeshadow pot later - looks like a pretty wearable brown shade with a very subtle shimmer, the shade is called Queen 👑 Not sure what the etiquette is with any additions, let me know if you'd rather I didn't mention them - I only think I added maybe one or 2 others though.

I think I will be giving the mascara to my mum. I don’t use mascara often and still have the Hourglass one unopened from last year’s calendar. Full sized mascara this year though, which is good.

I am happy with today’s and will give it a go once my No7 is finished.

I made 2 changes to mine too, but as it's mostly as it arrived, I feel I can post here 😁

I'm away so not yet opened it, but I could remember that the mascara was for day 1 anyway. In fact, I can remember right up to day 5, and then also day 16, 24 and 25 🙈 usually I manage to forget, so not sure why this year's has stuck. Anyway...

I've been trying to stick with my mascara and not start on a new one so I can start this one from tomorrow. I've only tried the eyeshadow stick and powder from LM, so it'll be nice to try something else. Have the last 2 years been mini mascaras? It's nice to have it full size. I'm not sure about anyone else but the little wands on minis right wind me up, I feel like the lid and my hand get in the way 🤣 What I'm trying to say is that I'm happy with today's and will be trying it tomorrow 🩷

Hello all. Harrods calendar first timer here. Had a Liberty AC last year so interested to see how they compare.

Can I ask when you say you made changes or swapped out drawers do you do this by using items from other calendars?

I knew the products I wouldn’t use, asked DH to remove them and replace with a selection of this I got from beauty boxes.

Pleased with day 2 and have just run out !

I removed 2 items that I knew I wouldn't use and sold them on vinted. I replaced them both with the same type of item but something I would use. I bought them both from vinted, they're items that other people were selling from their ACs 🙂

I am happy with today’s I think it’s the same as what was in the JL beauty box and I like it.

I'm lurking on the thread out of curiosity (I have the Liberty AC) - what have you all got today from Harrods?

DSis gets me a beauty AC for Christmas each year. Last year was F&M, this year Liberty and she's promised me Harrods for next year.

Today was a travel sized La Prairie foaming cleanser. Looking forward to trying it. 😊

I really hope I like this cleanser as I think I have 4 now. This one, one I bought on Vinted before impulsively buying Harrods BAC anyway, one from JL box and one from CB box. 😳

I've not yet got mine out from under the bed 🙈 @Isabelle70 it is the same one from the JL box, I like it too 🙂

Warning to others though, you really don't need a lot. Just a pea size amount, otherwise it starts to smell like hair removal cream 🤣 some people find it drying on their face, but even though I get quite dry skin, I haven't experienced that. This will go in my stash to use when I finish the one from the JL edit 😁 pleased again with today's drawer, when I eventually open it, everyone needs a boujee cleanser 🩷

That's what I thought when they were all arriving, although I didn't buy one from vinted. I did though, open the 125ml from JL first instead of the 50ml from CB 🙈 Luckily I like it. But I'd recommend to do it the other way just incase you don't and need to sell it.
