@buzzing i don't have regular facials, maybe 3 or 4 a year. I like ones that are advertised as hydrating / glowing and try to book elemis ones. Maybe book a spa day with a massage and facial treatment, it's lovely and such a treat 😍

Clarins do a free once a month. 15 minute treat, like a little makeover or arm massage. Lost the link but it’s in their website.

That's regular in my book! 😂

I do - every couple of months for about 20 years.

i have a mix if treatments depending on skin, time of year etc . Sometimes peels, sometimes dermaplane, or others with lights…. I have been going to same person for yonks and she does whatever she thinks is best.

I would definitely have regular facials - they seem to get deeper into the skin than I can at home & the massage is lovely.

There was something missing but I was super excited by it so I didn’t care what they missed in place of it 😅 turned out to be an eyeshadow stick (I think, or perhaps a mascara?).

I can’t believe it’s nearly 1st December! I’ve still not gotten round to condensing my BACs! My plan is to have Harrods & either JL or SNK BAC with the few empty drawers refilled, and my 2 fragrance calendars condensed for December. Then the remaining BACs condensed for January or February

🤣 Some of my friends have them every month so me going every 3 to 4 months doesn't sound regular 🙈 I tend to go when they have a good deal on. I'm hoping to go at the start of January after the Christmas partying, rushing around etc, we'll see though 🤔

That's good that it was in place of something cheaper. Can you imagine if it was the other way around?! 😐🤣 I got 2 sisley masks in my liberty beauty drop and thought that was lucky 🤣

I'm excited but I keep getting a little overwhelmed when I think about where I'm actually going to store it all. It can't go back under the bed 😳

Yes that’s my plan for weekend, get my BACs (and edits) in order.
I have no idea where I’m going to put everything. And even more worrying I don’t know where I’m going to store everyone’s Christmas presents, when I eventually start buying them 🙈🤣

I've not even thought about storing anyone else's presents 😱

I bought some presents for my husband, a present for my nephew and my dad in October and thought I was doing well, but then I stopped 🤣 and have only bought for myself since, oops. Oh well, always next year! 😬

Just a reminder that there are various ways to get rid of unwanted BAC items but one option is to donate them to a Christmas. collection for young people - often with these, there are loads of donations for babies and young kids, but not so many for teenagers who may actually like a black eyeliner or a hair product 😃 I'm sure there are others about but one such national collection is Mission Christmas / Cash for Kids which has drop off points everywhere till about 18 December, and you can search for them by postcode

Love this idea. I did similar last year as one of my neighbours collects items for gift bag for food banks so worth looking for local initiatives too. I put together little bundles of unused nail polish, cleanser and make up etc from beauty boxes and advent calendars. I had particular excess from the bargainous Ciate nail polish BAC in 2023 after I remembered 12 months later that I don’t really use nail polish so only needed 2/24 at the most! 😂
I strangely did not have any bacon fries left over from my crisps AC 🤔

I came across last year’s HN fragrance box a couple of weeks ago and filled it with unwanted BAC things and gave it to my local charity shop. The manager was delighted and it had pride of place on the counter. It was the least I could do as they went through a sea of bagged donations to find my house keys that had dropped to the bottom of one of the bags of thjngs I had donated the day before 😆😆

Not sure how but appears Fenwick is now sold out as well.

I was also just coming on to say that Fenwick has sold out.
I am not seeing any amazing BF deals just yet. 😏

By the time BF actually comes around I’m so used to seeing offer emails and deals that nothing seems like a real discount anymore. Then there’s the fact some offers were actually better earlier in the week than they are today.

Yes, Black Friday's been going on since Halloween as far as I can see. Which means there won't be as many good deals today, I guess, as everyone's tried to get theirs out early 😔

That’s a lovely story.

The amount of potential wastage and land fill from BACs is mad.
I always donate my unwanted items to a local women’s refuge.
This solves the wastage but not the land fill element.
No simple answer for this other than all beauty companies manufacturing recyclable packaging.

I have the JL beauty and the HN fragrance calendar. Now eyeing up the HN beauty calendar 🙈 But at 175 I don't know if it's can justify that!

In other news, the first delivery of my cheese advent calendar arrived today. It’s taking a lot of will power to leave it unopened until Monday - I might be more excited about this than the BACs
