Final one before the opening threads. Who is starting the opening threads and for which ones? Please share the links below. There’ll be Waifs and Strays one, DIY, and possibly Harrods, Space NK, Liberty?

On 1st December, the opening threads start, I’ll ask MN to update this post with links.

Honestly I've LOVED glossybox. Its been brilliant and I only paid £80. I much prefer full size products. Teensy trial products dont interest me they feel.like they should be free anyway. There has only been 1 dod for me in GB so far (it was pink hair clips!! Very bad indeed!) But I knew and swapped it out for a fragrance from vinted from the HN calendar so no problem. Will definitely get degusta again. The whole family love it. My 11 year old twins have already requested it. Will also try for harrods fragrance but unlikely that will be held back till December

Good to know this. I still haven't opened mine, but intend to in the new year at some point.

@HollyGolightly4 have you seen how much the LoveEvery object permanence toys cost? The solidly built advents are perfect for babies to open and find stuff, mine enjoyed it from 4 months onwards and I put random toys and sensory stuff in each Liberty box draw. 1yo now and it’s partly why I got the M&S one this year, baby loves taking all the cardboard boxes out and fitting them in and opening each cardboard box. Once you add it up against baby sensory toys the BACs are a bargain 😂

Congratulations @HollyGolightly4 - you should definitely either get a BAC or buy some bit in the sale to do a DIY one, future you will be thankful!

I’ve completely flopped on the BACs. Despite my excitement building up to this time and allocating 2 for December I’ve just not been feeling it. Life pressures have got the better of me and I was just opening a few days at a time and not bothered with them. I decided to stop and wait until January and try again, it feels so wasteful to open for the sake of it and not get the full joy of it given the expense.
I have been using some of my new fragrances so that’s something, but I will keep most of them for 12 days of Christmas - I’ve started to put a BAC together so that each day DS and I both have a fragrance each to try 🥰

i didn’t get a 12 days or a Jadvent calendar so I’m going to refill my (Liberty) one with a different perfume for every day. I’ve got such a collection of miniatures that it’ll help me sort out and pass on some of the ones I don’t like as much.

Delinking to say that I did a DIY fragrance based on kits, samples, freebies, old ones forgotten about, this year for OH & I.

It has been great. I couldn’t find an advent worth it and without too many products I wouldn’t use. We have a little chat about nice smells and memories. It’s nice.

I'm the same. Time restraints and other stresses due to time of year.
Ive bought several 🙄🤣😍 but no guilt as I do very little else and this is just for me. Will open from xmas ish and have advents ready.
I dont want to open just for the sake if it. Ive loved these threads, my first year, and the ones keading up to the advents.
For me personally I think with the long build up it feels like it should be over by now.
Im loving the posts and what's in each and excited to open them after. I will have forgot the majority of the contents. Due to meno ive the memory of a goldfish. 😍🤣

Thank you for this @SmashingGemini ive just ordered I love Molton brown and the gatenuie ( I’ve spelt it wrong) is my favourite tanning product never ever fails ! Hoping the mascara is good .

im going to keep an eye out for Stylevanna next year going to be on it for Harrods fragrance . As for main BAC I’m not sure , I love SPNK last year. And I’m enjoying Liberty but I’m not sure if I’ll go the hole hog next year . Might do a @JoRaRaRa and start early and make my own. But I do love discovering a new product . The face the future edit was great and I might go for Glossybox .

who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ but it’s all exciting and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the thread this year 🥰

I’ve just bought that glossy box at £28, tho I really only want it for the Molton brown … and I now appear to be addicted to buying beauty boxes!

I might try the tanning lotion too if you all think it’s a good one? I never use fake tan normally …

I opened Harrods FAC over the weekend as my treat for finishing work for the year. Doubt it would be a spoiler on this particular thread but I'll just say I love day 12 enough to have considered it full price. Whilst I'm off work, I think I'll rewatch a YT opening video and spritz along!
Love these Harrods calendars, such an amazing deal and I'm already mentally preparing for scoring it in 2026!

This year I made my first frankenstein (inspired by posters here) by refilling my SNK FAC with other BAC items from Vinted, edits etc. That's what I'll open on Christmas day and I'm more excited for it than I expected. I'll do it again for 2026 since I buy so much throughout the year and it should be finished early enough for me to forget what's in.

I went a bit overboard with calendars this year so hoping that I'll stick to my plan to only have the calendar that Dsis has promised me for next year (Harrods hopefully 🤞). I will join next year's thread though, so who knows 😄
