Hi, if you have the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar or are just interested in what’s inside, then please feel free to join in by posting your thoughts on each day’s contents.

If you have swapped out any doors, you can either skip a day here or just tell us what you have swapped in and why!

As is ‘usual’ on these threads, please try to avoid revealing each day’s contents before 7am UK time.

Thanks so much for starting this thread @IlovePond!I am quite excited. My lovely AC is sitting on my dressing table, it’s a really beautiful box. I absolutely love the bag it came in too but not sure how I’ll use that- what’s everyone else using it for??

I'm planning on using mine as a laundry bag on holidays and trips away.
Far too pretty to use for that, but it's a strange size to use as a shoe bag.

The other half was encouraging me to put it on vinted. Nope! Mine!

I have popped my Liberty bag over the back of a wooden chair for now. It looks quite nice. I wish I had the skills to turn it into a cushion as someone did on another thread!

Thank you for the thread. I'm very excited it's my first year with a BAC. The elves bring all advent calenders in our house so I will be setting them out later!

Thanks @IlovePond! It’s my second year of the Liberty BAC and I’m so excited! I’m actually away from the 18th so I have opened the last few days already so I can start tomorrow with you all! I’m not sure what on earth to do with the bag, but it is gorgeous!

Oh turning it into a cushion is a great idea! Although I’d have no idea how to do that either. Maybe a Xmas crafty project for over the Xmas hols???!

I didn’t buy any other AC this year which was quite restrained for me! I have so much stuff from previous years AC’s though that I need to use up.

PS my holiday laundry bag is always a black bin bag, don’t think I could use my gorgeous new Liberty bag for that! With DH and the kids pants in it 🤢

Really looking forward to getting mine out of the box later on today. I'm going to use the bag to keep my used face flannels in - I use a clean one morning and night and I like to wash them all together to keep them sparkling white. Think I'll hook the bag on the back of the chair and pop the flannels in to wait to be washed.

I bought my calendar back in August and have completely forgotten what's in it - looking forward to a lovely surprise each morning!

I had the same thought about the bag. I was going to use it as a holiday laundry bag, but when it arrived I knew it was too pretty for dirty washing. I also saw the cushion photo on the other thread, lovely idea, but not something I can do. I've now no clue what to do with it. I opened my calendar on delivery, to check all was there, it was so long ago that I can't remember 1 thing that I saw in it

I have a pair actually, the friend who made it saw a bag for sale on e bay , so purchased so I could have 2 . I absolutely love them , they bring me joy

I'll take a pic of the back later , it has purple velvet bows . Yes my friend is very clever . I didn't expect the velvet piping or the lining .

Wow your cushion is gorgeous @Caramelandsalt! I’ve just put a cushion in mine and folded the top down, it looks lovely on my bed 😍 No idea how I’d do piping etc, that’s beyond me. I’ll be the only one seeing it in my bedroom (well apart from DH but he won’t even notice it!) so I might just buy a bigger cushion to fill it and just fold it down at the back, it will still look like a cushion!

My Liberty advent calendar is now out on display, and I am very excited; it’s my first ever Liberty advent calendar!

I’m going to use the bag to store large embroidery frames which are normally out in the open, to protect them from dust - it’s the perfect size.

Absolutely beautiful. This is very cheeky but could your friend possibly share instructions? I’d love to use mine this way.

Thank you @IlovePond. I’ll be here tomorrow with my Liberty + calendar. I bought the HN BAC because there were a few things I desperately wanted, and shoved them in random Liberty drawers, and sold the rest. Apart from having forgotten what’s in the Liberty calendar anyway, there will be extra surprises 😆😆
