Ive heard cult beauty customer services are rubbish. Hoping escentual is a bit better.

Be careful, fellow perfumistas, I reckon this time of year you get seasonal temp staff on the make, probably only offered a few weeks work so keen to make a quick killing. I wonder if they are police checked like posties are, reckon not with all the cost cutting going on.

Meanwhile, second SOTE is creed queen of silk. Patchouli heavy floral, not usually a patch fan but finding it interesting....

It's such a shame that you managed to get your hands on a good deal and then some lil n head thinks they have the right to take it 😡 I really like pdm, don't let it put you off 😔

SOTE is Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Milk 🤍 soft, creamy, calm and gently sweet, perfect for relaxing and bed 😍 It isn't heavy, it just sets the tone for a peaceful night 🌛🌠

Meanwhile I bought another HN calendar whilst they are still there and on offer, its for store pick up so I figure they can't lose it/ delivery issues.

Scent of the day, vanilla has called to me. Mat prem vanilla powder which is a strong one, but lovely.

How many do you have now? 🤣 Let us know how you get on with Escentuals. Hopefully they're a lot more helpful then HN were.

It’s a dupe for Tom Ford Bitter Peach but I think it smells better.

So I opened day 1 of my Harrods fragrance calendar today, so excited!! I should've opened it yesterday, but after being away on Monday, I forgot my plan to open the final day on Christmas eve, so it was all a bit confusing in my head.

It was out of the calendar and straight onto my skin! 😍 I really like it, it's sweet, soft and comforting at first, like toasted vanilla. Then as it dries down, out comes a spicy kick, it's not sharp, it's just enough to keep it warm. It's sweet, warm and beautifully mellow, perfect for a chilly morning 🧡

Photo of the fragrance, marked as sensitive so I don't ruin or spoil the surprise for anyone planning to open theirs later in the month 🙂

I've lost of how many ACs I've bought but must be about 4 x HN and 3 x SNK, 1 Harrods, also the look fantastic one, 2 x perfume shop, about 8 x cult stockings and 3 x Liberty scent kits.
Most I've sold on, kept enough to give myself a decent stash which I'll either open for personal use, gift, or sell as and when.

TBH I'm getting a bit fatigued with it now and ready for the end of the AC season. The HN one was a final hurrah, that's it for scent calendars, although any kits and things I'll still look out for.

Wow!! 8 stockings!! 🙈🤣 Are you keeping anything from the duplicate items or selling everything? I was tempted to buy another HN, as there's quite a few expensive ones I like in there.

Wow that's a lot! It makes sence for you if you are buying to sell. I don't, I find it bothersome to do that and I only willing to do it for a week twice in year to get rid of things I won't use. What's not sold whitin the week I pull off and happy to be done

@JoRaRaRa I really like the Harrods fragrance you posted. I was surprised as I’d seen some negative reviews but I think it’s lovely.

Cult are hopefully replacing my item, bar any further courier tomfoolery. It’s a full size Discotheque. I’m going to stop buying online until January. Some weights I bought for DS have gone missing too, it’s such a faff to sort.

SOTD is Vanilla Vibes JHAG from my samples jar. Inoffensive but not a love.

SOTD is the last dregs of EM 02 sample so some satisfaction at finishing something off. I like this but it smells no different to EM 01 to me.

@JoRaRaRa its Call For A Good Time. It’s a strong in your face floral which seems to be my thing at the moment 😁 I’m rubbish at the notes. It’s my favourite from the discovery set. I bought a travel sized on Vinted but the CB offer over the weekend took the FS down to £89 so it’s a Christmas present to myself

Call for a good time is one of the ones I've got as a travel size. It is really nice. In fact, I've just gone and sprayed one arm with it so I could remind myself of the smell 🥰 What a great present! 🩷

I have a few favorites, definitely vanilla haze, spiky muse and commodity milk.

The CS stockings means i can gift loads of little perfumes to colleagues / friends this year which I love doing, share the perfume love.

Sounds lovely! I wasn't quick enough to get this calendar but I'm interested to see your opinions on the contents. Such a good idea to post a "sensitive" photo so everyone can choose to look or not.

Scent of the day is Thé Matcha 26 from Le Labo. It's tea with soft fig and a woody dry down.

LuckyScent, one of the best places to buy niche samples and not worry about fakes, just got bought out by private equity. I've used them for years. Aaagh.
