I’ve started getting Black Friday early access emails for 25% etc.

We have a shower in our bedroom. It’s full of advent calendars.
I try to pretend it’s presents too but DH is fully aware and somehow loves me anyway 🥰😂.

No you’re not alone! The wardrobe in our spare bedroom is full and there is a danger of an avalanche of advent calendars if the doors aren’t opened carefully 😆😆. My husband never goes in there so my hoard is reasonably safe from discovery.

I’m not like this with advent calendars but know how you feel as we are like this as a family with Lego 🙈. It’s ridiculous fear you’ll miss something amazing resulting in buying more than you need or possibly even really want.

Some of mine are under the bed too, it was a right fight to get them in as under there is already crammed so they had to go in in a certain order 🤣 the rest are in the cupboards in the spare room 🙈 I don't trust myself to not open them if I put them out, plus I've not yet decorated for Christmas.

I love lego. Very nostalgic. They discontinued stuff constantly then the prices rocket.
Ive bought quite a bit off vinted for the kids. Star wars island favourite anf wind turbines 🤣

I am also not meant to be buying but must have another voucher that has been applied as two are showing as £138.60 for me.
I would buy one at that price but really don’t need two.

John Lewis advent has sold out online now. Quite relieved as would’ve been annoying to see it reduced after buying it!

They must have judged the quantity and demand well this year then. Unlike HN.

I may have been tempted with a discount so quite glad it's gone really.

JL was nice this year, although a little expensive when contents were compared to others in the luxury pricing tier. I think Fenwick really shot themselves in the foot with their empty bag GWP. They still have stock as well and I don’t recall many people (or any?) saying they’ve bought it.
HN have at least been aggressive in their reductions, although it p’d off quite a few at times.

Glad I bought it Friday now 😂

Actually, I take back the overpriced comment about JL. Having looked again, I think it was well priced for the contents. Just a bit of a hike from last year.

I'm holding out for 25%. That would get it down to €138. Although I could potentially be convinced with 20% as that would be less than €150.

If I could use the £15 gift voucher and the £5 credit (which their CS have now added) I’d get it straight away. Why do we do this!?

After our stash chat two days ago, I’ve been seeing my stash. It’s nowhere like people’s here, but I do have a few sachets, a build up of travel size anti ageing creams (I prefer light and airy), and some makeup products like Trinny Lip2Cheek from Liberty GWP or edit this summer which I can’t see me ever using. I also have a lot of leave in hair conditioner and hair products but I’ll get through these sequentially. I do have an HG hair gloss product now so I am working through these when I have something I’d prefer to use. I’m getting through it all though and I haven’t really purchased anything this festive marketing season so by February/March I’ll need a big restock.

@BakeOffRewatchIf it helps you can’t use the £15 voucher as you can only use one code, the account credit should work though.
I ordered one last week (yet to be dispatched) with a £10 account credit I had so brought it down to £182

@BakeOffRewatch I think you should get it. It's the one you wanted months ago and under £200 is still a good price. You won't be able to use the £15 voucher but you should be able to add the £5 credit at checkout.

@BakeOffRewatch If you need extra enabling the Medik8 Vit C that's in CB AC is really good. I think it's better than Sunday Riley CEO and I seem to recall you were after a Vit C not long ago. Full price I think that product is close to £70 on it's own.

What kind of serum do you need?
