Thanks for the new thread Bakeoff. I've been following, but not buying as I have GB, M&S and Anthropologie already. I also got some real must haves from vinted in recent weeks and am feeling the need to stop now (usual disclaimer regarding any great discounts on Next or Fenwick) or if they ever get round to doing an actual GWP

I just think than MN is a public forum, not a private party. You don’t get to impose rules in threads. You can control when you look at a thread, but it’s not ok to try to control other people posting. I think this is what ruins the threads personally. Telling people off like school children if they haven’t posted at the right time!

I have the Boots Skincare one - bought before the discount unfortunately but with points so didn’t part with any actual cash.

Might possibly be tempted by a good BF discount but really don’t need another and there are some individual products from various I’d like to get.

I can’t remember who commented on the last thread saying that mini sizes are a pain in many ways. Not enough to use often or hard to extract from the container. I used to find them great for travelling but have so many now I’m sure lots have expired. I’m going to go through my stash and use them or chuck them.

@BakeOffRewatch thank you for the new thread. Im definitely in the market for one more but that would make 3, Maybe 4 is a better number.

L'Occitane BAC is 20% off on John Lewis (£69.60). Tempted, even thought its a lot of minis.

It’s a good price, I’m going to buy for my MIL.

I quite like minis once I get to this stage of the year as I can use them up quickly and it feels like I’m clearing lots of space ready for the next influx! Some of the packaging is really frustrating though.

My HN Fragrance is due to be delivered this afternoon, plus the Boots skincare one on Monday, both discounted, yippee! Also have the ASOS and H&B ones. I did my own Frankenstein one too, which makes 5, ahem. Since I don't like odd numbers, should I get another (silly question!)?
Also have some beauty edits - CB stockings and Boots Korean, how did this happen??? I didn't get any at all last year, but got my first BAC from Sephora the year before and keep my stash in the lovely orange box.

I think that a rule is ok, but being really rude to someone isn't really on.

i was on the liberty one last year and a few of us seemed to have items in the wrong days. I had asked a question because I wanted to find out if I had something completely random substituted for the correct thing, or if I had something that would be coming later on the calendar (and so I could expect the thing I'd missed at some point later in Dec).

I got a really rude reply, which really put me off tbh, it feels really cliquey and unnecessary. I hadn't even said what product I'd received.

It really took the shine off for me. I've had a hard few years, I don't really have a huge social network for various reasons and I kind of enjoyed feeling part of a wee chat each day. I didn't post again.

A few people messaged me to say that they were a bit shocked by how rude the response was too so I don't think it was just me being sensitive.

@BlueLimesthaks and yes agree Elle looks good too and is one I have eyed up too.

mm JL boxes, maybe this is a good idea to make myself a “Frankenstein “ box as other posters have done. I could enlist DD to wrap items individually next year and use my Fortnums calendar box to house them in. I’ll definitely be open to those instead

ive just unboxed my Liberty much to DHs horror and wow its amazing. It’s on display to make me feel happy until 1 Dec. That bag is lush!!!

I do think the JL boxes are really good value with a great mix of products. You could get 2??

The rejuvenate box is £55 with 7 products.

@BlueLimes🤣🤣4 definitely better number than 3!! I’m keeping an eye out on John Lewis to add to my Liberty. I bought GB but took some things out and added to give to dsis.
