New thread! Will this be the last thread? I think it will last two weeks and we’ll finish on a round number 10. Though Black Friday deals may mean we burn through this and 10 onto 11 and 12!

I’ve started getting Black Friday early access emails for 25% etc.

I wish the PDM calendar would sell out. It's been in and out of my basket more than anything else since it was released.

Is the GWP not enough to push you over 🧐the 10ml are worth about £35 each , plus shower gel or candle maybe £15/20 . I am thinking of it sold out would I be gutted and the answer is yes but I did just buy a Max Mara coat 😳

The cost is only part of my hesitation and not the biggest part. It's the 'stuff' the amount of fragrance I have acquired this year is ridiculous. Even accounting for what I've sold or passed on.

The PDM candle shows as 180g on my order and not the 35g, I did order early so not sure if it has changed during the day.

Last year it stuck around for a long while into December, but it’s anyone’s guess

If you add to basket, you can then click on the number and change it to a high number to see what they have left in stock- but no idea how accurate this is. The maximum it allows in the basket is 50 (citing this ‘is due to stock limitation’). However, this is clearly not accurate because at least two of us bought this calendar in the last day and it still allows 50 to be added with the same reason given. Might be useful once they have less than 50 in stock 🤷‍♀️.

2025 has been a great year for the fragrance lovers in terms of edits, kits and advents so I can see how its built up.

I think the only one I didn't get this year is the Selfridges Fragrance Wardrobe because it sold out while I was dithering.

There's something about perfume now that just appeals so much more than skincare and make-up. I notice the trend here and with the beauty retailers too.

The PDM hasn't appealed (probably because I haven't looked properly!) but I have Valaya unopened in Harrods FAC, Oriana from last year's and several small Delinas now.
Can you check the return policy and see how long you have to send it back if you buy it? That way you can make your decision without the worry of it selling out.

Amazingly I didn't buy the Selfridges wardrobe either and sort of regret that a little bit.

If I do succumb I can assure you it won't be getting sent back. 😂

It's a lot of Delina. Which is my favourite but I do have a couple of 10mls and a 5ml. Unless I wore Delina every day for quite some time those will last me a good while. I also have the HN fragrance advent sat unopened - there's another 10ml of Delina in that. 😳

I'd like the candle and the shower gel, body lotion etc. plus the other scents but really it would be a supremely indulgent purchase right now. To put it in perspective I'd like a new coffee machine. The one I want is about £550. It's a big chunk of that.

@OvaHere I understand completely. I've finally made the decision to get the Hive thermostat installed and it feels like a big purchase. Yet I happily drop the same amount on an advent without much thought! 😅

Oh I would love a Max Mara coat which one did you get?

@TreesinthePark someone was saying being on WLI like mounjaro made them switch to sniffing perfumes than snacking (my memory of many posts may be inaccurate). But it did make me wonder if a lot of people felt the same and hence the upswing in them selling out even though there’s more on the market. I think resellers are a big part of the reason for selling out too though. The thing about beauty is that you don’t have to find the right fit or colour with skincare, and perfume is even easier in that respect to try out.

I veer between having a few products that I know work and love using and getting bored. This is why I don’t mind getting travel sizes in my advent calendars as I can use them for a week or so before going back to the old faithfuls without feeling like I have lots of opened half used things on the go. Although some travel sizes seem to last forever, I have a rituals serum that’s lasted since mid September and it’s tiny!

It’s interesting following all the fragrance calendar talk as they just don’t appeal to me at all. I’m quite fussy with perfumes and feel like I’d dislike most of them 😆 Although a few years ago I didn’t see the point in BACs so who knows…

I have to drag the bstrd bear to the bed it's connected to and I keep getting told I've failed the test. Doesn't matter which bed I drag it to or whether i carefully follow the line or not. The bear should go to the top right bed - or am I being a bit dense?

@BakeOffRewatch yes, I can see how it would be addictive. I still haven't added the Liberty kit and HN FAC to my collection yet even though I opened them both. I just go through them every now and then for a sniff fix 😉

Its a quilted goose down puffer in pearlescent beige , kind of oversized slightly A line with a hood . It had its first outing today . Im sure the woman in the opticians was checking out my buttons to try and read the brand , I caught her ( maybe she needed stronger glasses 🤓 😂😂)

Well the Kiko calendar has now sold out which was the one I was watching for BF discounts 😣 I'm a bit gutted tbh that it didn't get reduced 🤣

GlossyBox has just sold out, so of course, I am REALLY regretting not buying it 😹

At least I can stop thinking about it now!

Look at it this way. Another year and they'll be a load more and we'll barely remember these ones. 😂
