Niche Beauty BAC has 25% off with code PERFECT25. Takes it down to £258.75

You make recall I had to talk myself out of this last time there was a discount code. I do really like a lot of what is in this BAC, hardly any DoD. But even with a discount it's basically still the average price of a luxe calendar like Harrods or SNK.

So still don't feel I can justify it.

I think I’m well on the way to inducting my mum into the beauty advent calendar cult. I told her yesterday that I’d ordered the Boots skincare and she is insisting I do a live unboxing with her over FaceTime when it arrives next week. She also wants me to do daily perfume reviews when I open LF fragrance in December 😆

I am waffling on getting the JL AC ... was hoping it would be discounted by now.

Following on from the low buy/accountability talk on the last thread, I really need to behave myself next year, partly for financial reasons but also because I have so much stuff.

I am on the empties thread but like others I get enabled by other people’s reviews quite a lot, particularly by our lovely K beauty expert in Australia! What that thread does help me do is stick to using and emptying one thing at a time rather than having loads of the same type of products open at once. Well, works for skincare at least, not so much body and hair stuff. My shower is a disaster zone - I counted the shower gels in there today and there were 11 😂

I won’t mention the number of items I’ve purchased 😳

I agree life is very different for a lot of people and all have different reasons for following different threads . last year was my first big splurge and this year I’ve gone mad ! Well my version of mad but it’s been brilliant . I’ve got some great ideas and insight . I’m prepped for next year ( determined to get Harrods fragrance 😆) and I think I am going to take a leaf out of your book and watch for threads on the Niche and positively lux BAC’s . It’s a nice Christmas build up . I am now intrigued by the tights one 🧐 . I stare at my liberty and have completely forgotten what’s inside beyond excited .

And this is so random but last year in order to drag my friend down this rabbit hole I started recording my opening of each box along to the ‘ 12 days of Christmas ‘ song by day 14 I was struggling I couldn’t pronounce half the contents 🤪🤣 but she enjoyed it so much I am obliged to repeat the exercise ! whatever gets you through I guess !

I feel you on the shower products. I sometimes wonder if people look at my empties and wonder if I ever wash because it's rare for a body wash, shampoo or conditioner to make it in there. I promise I do wash, it's just because I have so many open and on the go and I flit between them all. I have banned myself from opening anymore until I've got through a good 3 or 4 opened ones. 😂

K beauty is very enticing. I've just put in an order on YesStyle. If anyone is interested, there is 15% off this weekend.

In my defence, most of it is a Christmas present for my mother but naturally I couldn't resist adding on a few bits for myself.

Thanks for the new thread. Im just stalking you all because I haven't actually bought a BAC for myself yet. Struggling to justify the cost so very much hoping for some discounts in BF. Did buy a Liberty one for a gift. I really like the look of the Lookfantastic, Elle or Glossybox for myself. And I would LOVE the John Lewis one if it had a decent discount. Absolutely can't justify over £200 on myself unfortunately. I am living vicariously through you all though!

@CorneliaStreet - hi! I stopped posting on the emptied thread as I was just being enabled to buy more. I am getting through stuff. But I keep buying more! I was on a low/no buy clothes thread too and failed miserably at that as well……

I don't need more advent calendars but if there is good discount on Drunk Elephant, Chantecaille, Rituals, Laura Mercier perfumes of over 25% off I need to buy some things I ran out off and few things on wish list. Plus any good perfume bundles.

Ooh which chantecaille perfume are you after @MiaN ? I love a couple of theirs. They're such big bottles though. I feel like id never get through them. I love Tiare for the summer.

Chantecaille wish list is mainly eye shadow pots, lip balm and fountain maybe. Only the Laura Mercier wishlist is perfume, running out of my favourite evening at home scent Vanilla Ambre.

I meant foundation, not fountain.

Hmmm, Jo Malone and Penhaligons are catching my eye, and I also like the look of Rituals. But I could also be persuaded by one of the Korean skincare ones, decisions, decisions! Hope there are some big, big discounts though!
