I used to work opposite one of their stores and bought most of their Christmas limited edition stuff three years in a row (they never sold the advents over here then). And then covid happened and they closed down. I miss all their glittery stuff 😢

Hi all, just bobbing on in case there’s any amazing offers on BACs for my second one. Can’t really justify it but might be tempted for perfume or make-up. Kiki you say? <off to Google>

The point is that the 'rule' is set for no spoilers for that day before 7am UK time, so everyone knows when they can safely first post or check the thread. It could be midnight, it could be 5pm, it doesn't matter. It's just a guideline so everyone is on the same page. And yes it's a public forum, but if you stood in a public space and shouted spoilers for the latest big hit (e.g. standing outside shouting Traitors spoilers at 10pm on Thursday) people would still think you were a bit of an asshole. It's just part of the general social contract, a bit of respect for others.

In years gone by there might be someone who'd bulldoze onto the thread mid-month, saying something like 'i've opened mine, you guys are in for a treat! Shame day 25 is a day cream' or something, and it sort of took the wind out everyone's sails and the excitement out of the countdown.

For anyone looking at Kiko, the discount box that offered 15% yesterday is now offering me a ‘just this visit only’ discount of 20%. I’m going to keep watching this to see if it goes further
