I like Color Wow as well, and the travel sizes are great as I'm away on one of my DC's sporting weekends a lot.

ive got the LB and I am beyond excited for the first of December , sometimes, actually all the time it’s good to look after yourself . Having said that I would if going for a lower cost one go for Glossy Box ! I did use the LF for my mum and I thought that was also excellent . If I hadn’t broken down and got the LF beauty vault I would have pressed the button and got GB as it’s an absolute bargain I believe . Whatever you choose I hope it brings you joy . And I wish you a lovely Christmas !

I've checked my Sparks account and I didn't get the discount for the M&S AC 🤷‍♀️ I was considering getting it for myself. I got my teen the ASOS one.

My brother's birthday is end if November and I want to get him an AC as well, but not sure which one to go for.

Ahh I forgot I also got my teen the Charlotte Tilbury calendar with the ASOS discount for Christmas. The BAC-buying mania has definitely rubbed off on me 🤪🎄🎅

@BlueLimes - I don’t use Vinted - too many horror stories from DSis. I try to sell a bit on eBay, but the M&S stuff wouldn’t sell.

I’ve got beautiful Liberty perfume on there atm, and nobody wants it!

Some people seem to have the selling knack, but I clearly don’t 😿

Hi I’m thinking of making my 15 year old son an advent calendar, I was thinking of buying an empty box and putting items in. I was thinking some small aftershaves, some nice shower gel and I’m not sure what else. I’ve seen a few of you have made your own, does anyone have any tips please. I’ve been looking on Vinted at the fragrances that are in the space nk, Harvey Nicole and Harrods and I can’t seem to find any bargains. I buy clothes from Vinted and can normally find reasonably priced items but struggling with fragrance

@Lovereading1 - if looking for perfume/skincare on Vinted or eBay from a/cs, try to find sellers who have good feedback and who are selling other stuff from the same calendars. That helps cut down the possibility of fakes.

Allbeauty are a good place to look for skincare/perfumes as they have lots of well-priced stuff and are on TCB/Quidco.

I got a wooden advent calendar from Hobbycraft and decorated it. I just looked for other edits/boxes that were good deals and have filled it with the CB fragrance gwp, some Fenty, rom&nd and Milk bits - but had to dig into it to cheer her up the other night and need to replace a few things now! It's forming one of her birthday presents next week.

I have to say that when I've custom made an advent calendar (for an elderly aunt), it's cost me a load more than buying one! Was fun to do though.
