Which dress to my welcome home party?

I've been away doing charity work for the past few months and I've just arrived home to a raptuous greeting.

The pub is holding a party this evening to welcome me home.

Which dress should I wear?

I like this one, thankfully my short legs mean it's a decent length on me.

I think I could see myself wearing this.

I'm basically in my underwear!

Is it supposed to taste like soap?

😆not really, but it may be the same effect as coriander tastes, for some folk, wee yin.

Coriander also tastes of soap, so a me thing then.

But the alka seltzer has perked me up a bit.

Bikinis are a definite no! I think I'd prefer one of those wetsuit things the surfers wear. Or a full costume with a skirt thingy attached to it.

Sad times.

If we work at it today we can get it trending in S&B though.

I think the blue version of the Toast dress is more you, Maud. Although £175 for a cotton frock feeks like a right rip off to me.

Do gerbils get a lot of pocketmoney?

Rosie the Red Panda has a great side hustle in advertising games in other mobile games. It's very lucrative I hear.

This one is for a happy colouring-in game. Which is very gerbil appropriate.

I think she pools the money with the gerbils and that's how everything at the Bluestocking is free, and they can afford dresses from Toast.

I had a rich great great grand gerbil. She invented dental floss, originally using spun gerbil fur, until the Gerbil Liberation Front campaigned against it.

I'm having this one on my list of possible dresses for dd's graduation next year.. It's not till July so plenty of time to rethink, but I think Maud would look splendid in it.
