The regulars on the thread mainly discuss luxury BAC and this dies down by September when everyone has purchased and forgotten the contents. Then it goes into discussion on what’s selling out, what hasn’t and what deals and discounts to be had on ACs in the lead up to December. Then in December we move onto AC opening threads!

as luck would have my harrods BAC pitched up an hour ago (very quick delivery) and the MZ skin is sealed …

Sounds like its out of date. You can check how old the product is on check fresh

@HolaLolla I’ve still got my MZ cream from last year’s Liberty calendar and it’s definitely sealed. But I think you clams get in from the bottom reasonably easily.

Those of you who have MZ eye from Harrods or Liberty - could you please share batch codes?

Checkfresh doesn't have MZ codes unfortunately

I once bought an mz skin eye cream from tkmaxx, stored it for about 6 months and when I went to use it it had gone lumpy and disgusting. I did try to use it for a few days before I binned it 🙈 It sounds like they go off quickly so I'll make sure I use the one from the Harrods BAC ASAP 😬

They should really warn about this on the packaging, shouldn't they?!

Wow, the Byredo calendar at £650. I think my cut off is around £300🫨

At £120 RRP MZ should certainly be warning customers!

Just been looking at the Tatcha 12 days. Im really enjoying their products atm, and the code for new customers seems to apply. So brings it down to £173. Plus you still get two free gifts, and one if them is a full size kissu lip mask. I really shouldnt, but i am VERY tempted🙈

My Liberty one was manufactured November 2024 apparently. I’d better start using it. I have so many unopened things. I need to stop buying more before using them 😭

Gosh this thread is a life saver when it comes to good advice about products potentially being off etc. I knew I had some MZ Skin stuff somewhere among my stash(es) so looked for it today. Couldn't actually find it, but it was still a worthwhile exercise as I binned four or five items that were old and / or unsuitable and also found a NARS The Multiple blush that I'd forgotten I'd bought and a lovely Clé de peau precious gold vitality mask. I sometimes have no idea where these things have come from, but I used to be a rather prolific buyer from Bridal Beauty, so I'm guessing it's from there.

Still dithering about Elle..

Brown Thomas calendar is out on the 25th September, they haven't mentioned a price yet.

In the spirit of actually using stuff - I have also dug out my extensive face mask collection. My target is one a week until they are used up!

I also experimented with using an eyeshadow brush for the first time ever and a palette I had forgotten existed. Was quite pleased with the results!

Of course, I have also bought Clarins stuff today due to the free samples and the M&S icons set as I had 20% off, so I still need to go in the dog-house!

I am going to need to start a second DIY calendar at this rate 🙀

I bought the Elle and justified it to myself because dd1 has stolen all my tweezers 😂

Thanks @BlueLimes I forgot about that. I’m not into acids so dismissed it but just scrutinising the value of the bits I would want now.

Has anyone tried the Medik8 Crystal Retinal? What level do you advise using? The one in the kit @BlueLimes shared is 3 which is £49 for 30ml, the one in the Harrods BAC is 6 which is £69 for 30ml.

I've used a sample of Medik8 crystal retinol 3. I really liked it and I'm so pleased that the Harrods calendar has the 6 in. I rate it higher than the augustinus bader retinol serum 😊 I can't advise you on the levels though.
