The regulars on the thread mainly discuss luxury BAC and this dies down by September when everyone has purchased and forgotten the contents. Then it goes into discussion on what’s selling out, what hasn’t and what deals and discounts to be had on ACs in the lead up to December. Then in December we move onto AC opening threads!

Then I realised I was walking past the Creed flagship store 🙈

With apologies to Creed lovers -smell is sooo subjective!

Whilst in Liberty I kept asking DH what he thought about me buying the calendar - as if he was ever going to have an opinion other than ‘Are you completely insane?’

I do still like it, but having smelt some of the perfumes, (and not loved any of them), and having also seen some of the little sizes in the calendar, these factors, plus the eye-watering price, are giving me pause!

I think that if the calendar is still in stock when my next BD credit goes into my account in October, then I might use that towards it, (I’ll have a whole £60 at that point!)

I don’t really want to keep the BD going once it goes up to £25 a month, so could just about justify cashing it in then.

Mine has been dispatched with the delivery estimate saying Thursday too. Same as you, deluxe member with no pass.

I don't want the spacenk or boots calender but I am jealous of all the people with exciting treats on the way! I wish I'd taken more notice of the spacenk gwp now and am kicking myself. I'm telling myself that because I've been so restrained and well behaved I can treat myself to something with no guilt as soon as it's something I actually want 🤣

I had a look at the SNK one today when I went to the Bullring and still not tempted. Then to Selfridges to have a mootch around but nothing caught my eye. Finally Sephora, where I got the Kayali sample/discovery so spent £22 today. Very restrained.
I really want the hourglass palette in Fox though. Apparently in Selfridges next week, but isn’t there a discount code floating around?

My LF fragrance has arrived! The box is huge, definitely too much packaging for the size of the products but very nice quality drawers.

I don't think I'll save this one as I'm itching to try them. I've got Liberty to open for advent and Harrods fragrance which I'll save until I finish work for the Christmas break.

I think I night have room for one more BAC. I wasn't keen on SNK at all, if I do another splurge it will be Sephora. The other fragrance calendars are tempting but I'm struggling to get through all my bottles!

I have Fleur Narcotique from Selfridges BAC on the way too- smelt it in store and found it on Vinted. It's beautiful 😍

I’ve ordered the Space NK advent calendar today and only just seen the GWP.

Will it be added automatically or did I have to do something at check out?!

I did buy the Hourglass palette after saying I wasn’t…but I wanted the swan colour after having dragon light colours last year. I was going to just have swan with its corresponding colours, but ended up buying horse with swan colour palette. I believe there was a code..think it’s SOFIASEES if you buy from hourglass direct.

Pretty sure the GWP sold out a day or two back.

Have the contents of Flannels fragrance calendar already been revealed?

Ahh ok thank you, I don’t mind that but I would have been mad if I’d missed something at checkout!

Of the ones I tried

Nihlo Blue Talisman - I had to wash off, smelt like wee on me. Long lasting unfortunately. The clothing I was wearing went straight into the machine. Truly awful.
Lbty Zephrine - Green fig, I liked it but it got a bit headachy after a while, it just stays there unrelenting.
Sparkling jo - smelt like kitchen cleaner initially but faded to a pear and wine, and then faded. First one that is clearly feminine.
DS Durga - just a light woody. That's it. Nothing special what so ever. Reminds me of the Escentic molecule wood one.
Vyrao - I already have this from CB edit. I really like it. Different to what I usually like. So this 10ml is a keeper.

Don't know if I'll bother with the Vanilla one, and the Granado is to try tomorrow.

Hi, can anyone tell me if the 6ml Vanilla Powder perfume is a spray or has one of those stupid stick things/applicators?

The picture of the perfume shows bottle and stick, but the 6ml box says spray.

It comes with a spray nozzle you have to put in the bottle yourself

Yes, its not as difficult as it sounds. It's a lovely perfume, enjoy.

I managed to order Spacenk so that is me done now. Unless of course ASOS goes on sale. I'm looking forward to the Cult beauty edit releases now as dh has said he'll get one or both towards my birthday present.

Waiting itchily for dpd man to come with my selfridges frag wardrobe and he's late!

I'm still not tempted by any calendars.
I got my Kilian perfume and a sunday riley oil from Liberty with 15% off and the gift bag, I've put most of that in my empty 2023 Vogue calendar. I then made 2 orders with benefit, which got me a brow serum with 20% off and 6 freebies to add to the calendar. I've also made another order with Liberty for a Sunday Riley product with 20% off, which will go in my calendar. The October liberty bd will hopefully go in the calendar. Then it will be filled. Cost so far is £288 but it's products I know I want, the perfume alone should have been £225, I don't think I've done badly

Was I the only one that had the selfridges scent wardrobe cancelled? I ordered when it went on beauty detective before the site went slow later on.

I see the Degusta box has dropped. I don't think I'm tempted.

Mine went through ok and I received it today. I think I placed my order at around 3.40pm yesterday (that's when I got my confirmation email).

I think i need a sort out before SNK ac arrives. Im having a slight panic where to store everything.. ooops.
