Anyone want to talk Autumn shopping wish lists?

I know it’s not even August yet, and I’ve still not gone on my summer holiday yet - but there’s a chill in the air, I’ve packed a box of freshly picked blackberries in the freezer for autumnal crumbles and while looking for school uniform today, noticed quite a few burgundy items in shop windows.

So what’s on your autumnal shopping list?

Im after a pair of black knee high boots. (My old ones finally had to be retired last year, beyond what could be repaired.)

I’ve just bought a dark brown cashmere jumper on vinted. Am now going to start the hunt for the perfect dark green cashmere jumper or cardie.

I think I need new work trousers but not sure what shape we’re doing this year. (Wide leg ? That doesn’t work well with puddles.)

Anyone else with a list for when the new season starts arriving in the shops?

I’ve rather fallen for this Joe Browns Military Jacket. I usually find JB a bit too quirky but they do occasionally throw up some lovely jackets and coats.

I received them yesterday and they are comfy. I wasn't expecting them to fit on my calves, I had to get standard as I dithered too much and then wide were sold out, but I'm glad I went for it as they fit perfectly 😊 now looking forward to autumn to wear them.

I've seen a dress too that I'd really like but now I can't remember where I've seen it 🤦🏻‍♀️ hopefully the ad will come up on my phone again 🤞

Ooo I love that bag WoolerOwl haha you’re on a roll! Just got my TU M&E check trousers and they’re fab. The Long is very Long on me even with boots on so changing for Reg. I’m 5ft 6”. Brown belt is gorgeous and keeping that. Whilst I was collecting I had a browse and there’s some faux suede in - picked up the brown faux suede maxi skirt. It’s A line and I know pencils are back but I’m still keeping it to go with my camel cashmere roll.

I was in London today and had a mooch around Oxford Street. Lots of brown everywhere but nothing that really grabbed me, except seeing the brown AllSaints skirt I’d been dithering over and loving it… but obviously it’s now sold out online and in store in my size.

I’ve cheered myself up by ordering this COS dress.

I am (finally) off to collect THE KILT tomorrow! If it works on me, I’m planning to wear with a burgundy ‘Queen’ T-shirt from Kemi Telford, or grey chunky Aubin&Wills jumper for when it finally gets cold (both Vinted).

Well, I’ve got it and am v pleased. Good fit and length on me (5.5). I can see it getting a lot of wear..

Fallen disastrously in love with these Moda in Pelle boots which they call pewter and I’d call metallic brown or possibly bronze. Luckily for my bank balance, I know that MiP are always too narrow for my feet so I shall just continue to stare wistfully.

What footwear is everyone planning on wearing with the kilt? I wore my similar kilt with long black, low heeled boots last winter which I liked but wanted something lighter for autumn. Flat loafers and socks isn’t a look for me.
