That was a bit of a running joke over some threads. Mary was EBG, as above; Marie was SWP: Single White Princess, after the film Single White Female. Basically a joke reference to being Mary 2.0.

Albert gave a speech in which he thanked Charlene and the children (and then his wider family) for their love and support and got a bit emotional. Charlene then went over and they embraced. they have had times where they seemed almost separated and times when Charlene seemed very unhappy so it’s nice to see them seem close.

Here's Leti, a vision in pink!

She's wearing a Hugo Boss dress, quite a strong pink, but not overwhelming. Pink accessories, including her now favourite style of kitten heeled slingbacks. It's a tiered dress, which I am never keen on, but I think this is saved by having no other embellishments and is otherwise a shirt dress.
I love her earrings!

Yes I like this dress much more than Charlene's. The hem was good for me on that one but the dress itself was too sickly pink and looked a bit like old fashioned curtains with that lace. The other curtain dress (Charlotte's?) was fab, mind!

Happy to see Leti championing the lower heeled shoes, although of course it's a shame she's in pain. She could get even more adventurous/interesting with it, I think.

Yes, I'm not a fan of the complete pink look, but Leti carries it off and it's not too fussy.
She seems to be working out low heeled formal shoes, which must be a challenge after years of the very high stilettos she favoured.

I love Leti’s pink shoes - they are just about low enough I could wear them on a minimal walking outing - you know house to car, car to restaurant etc.

Love Leti’s head to toe pink look. A vast
improvement on the wonky hemmed, ruched smocky dreary coloured dress ( can you tell I didn’t like that one? 😆)

I’ve just had an email from the Royal Collection saying there will be a big exhibition of QEII’s fashion next year, in the King’s Gallery.

I just googled that and it’s looks amazing. Both her wedding dress and the coronation robe will be on display. It is to mark what would have been her 100th birthday. Thanks for the heads up!

I really like Leti’s dress but kitten heels just don’t look very comfortable to me. Perhaps marginally more comfortable than stilettos though.

Asymmetric hem alert! The family are certainly looking very colourful. I really like both green dresses, they're striking in a good way. Mathilde seems to have gone for very big hair. I'm not keen on her dress, it seems to overwhelm her, both in colour and design.

I agree about the green dresses but then green is one of my favourite colours. Mathilde’s dress reminds me of a doll I once had that was dressed in traditional Spanish flamenco style. It looks like a bit of a
pastiche unfortunately and I agree it overwhelms her
