It certainly is racing but it sure makes up for the Covid years (hope that doesn't come across as flippant as I know that time was difficult for everyone - for the new MN's who joined us, back then threads lasted for ages as obviously no one was out & about)

I wonder what Kate will wear to the Wimbledon men’s final. That teal number she wore on her most recent appearance fitted her beautifully but was a dreadful 80s throwback. It’d be great to see her in something fun.

I love Kate's Wimbledon looks. Always very elegant and extra marks when it's a pop of colour like the gorgeous yellow dress or the purple.

Chris Everts dresses in the seventies at Wimbledon were fabulous. Our neighbour loved the ladylike players like Chris and Evonne Goolagong.
And of course the Duchess of Kent was the epitome of Ladylike!

On kilts, I'm hoping that William will have a change of heart. I can understand that he wouldn't have liked wearing them in the self-conscious teenage years, but now that he's approaching his middle age, greater status, statesman era I think he ought to learn from Johnny and lean into it!

I think kilts can be a bit tricky - for everyone that wants to see the royals in kilts there is at least one Scot who hates it and see it as almost cultural appropriation. I don't think we will be seeing William in one any time soon.

In the spirit of being able to disagree and stay friends, I'd say orange is my least fave colour! 🤷😆
But I love the trouser suit and Mary's hair and makeup are sublime. She can wear most colours well.

Heard the news today that POW can grant royal warrants to suppliers. I really hope she grants one to Boden. Love a bit of Boden.

I’m afraid I’m going to disagree with you on Mary’s outfit, @WorkingRoyalNotTwerkingRoyal- I really dislike that apricot shade. I am normally a big fan of Mary’s style, but this time it’s a no from me.

A lot of celebrity ladies seem to be in tiered maxi dresses with sleeves. I'm so short I'd look as if I had borrowed my dils dress...she's tall!

I confess I have a silk suit just this shade, but it's Bermuda shorts rather than trousers. I was going through a Pretty Woman phase. 😂 But I still love it! I think I would have worn a white blouse rather than block colouring, though.
