DHs former CO was an equerry earlier in his career and he always complains that unlike Peter Townsend and Tim Laurence he didn't get a date a princess.

I’m a long time lurker on these threads but very rarely comment but I was lucky enough to be at the Royal Garden party at Holyrood this afternoon. The Queen shook my hand and spoke to me! She looked beautiful and had on one of her gorgeous brooches which has been mentioned on here. We had a fantastic time and the fashions were amazing!
I’ve posted a couple of photos but they’re being reviewed so might take a wee while to load up.

On the apricot/peach/whatever it actually is (looks a bit lighter on some photos), yes it's a love or hate colour for sure so I'm not surprised some people dislike it...but I also left out two crucial words: it's one of my top favourite colours on Mary. I just think it looks great with her colouring and her hair. For myself I probably wouldn't wear it head to toe but I do love the colour in spring and summer.

Here’s Sophie in a nice dress, I do like this one (but I wish she’d ditch the wedge espadrilles!) and enjoying an ice cream - brave when you know so many camera will be on you. I would instantly drip it all over myself.

We passed under the bridge linking Sweden and Denmark last week when on a cruise. Was a bit bizarre as we were having dinner at the time but it’s an amazing thing to see.

I drove across it a couple of years ago - it's a looooooong bridge.
We asked at the car hire place on picking up the car if we insured etc to take it to Sweden and the chap said sure, I'll book a bridge crossing for you and include it in the bill. If you don't go let us know at drop off and we'll take the charge off. All very efficient!

I’m not massively keen on Mary’s peachy outfit. I think that wearing peach can often end up looking like you haven’t any clothes on if you are light skinned. Too close to flesh toned for me

I'm very excited to see Catherine at Wimbledon. It's probably my favourite regular event for her clothes wise, and she always really enjoys the sport.

@Onprozacandmyhighhorse - I see what you mean about Camilla's brooch. No doubt someone on here will be able to identify it. That's a strong blue, which makes a change from the pastels. Anne seems to have gone for the same shade of blue, although I'm not sure that jacket is a good match for the dress.
I like Camilla in the polkadot.

The Dutch photos are lovely! It all looks very sunny and happy and they look summery in the chintzy outfits. I'm not a fan of the big sleeves, but it's definitely a look at the moment.

I like that Amalia is finding her own style, her Mum is a hard act to follow. That blouse is good and trainers with wide legs is perfect.
I like that blue (cobalt?) on the Queen and Princess Anne. Good hat as usual from Camilla.
