They are going super fast though. I made out the the new full size medik8 tetra. What was the AB box? Can anyone figure that out? If it's a large rich cream I'm in!!!!

It is the eyebrow and lash serum, I took a picture of it and could make out serum and then searched the AB products

Haven't they already teased a blusher too? I'm not a big fan of the hourglass mascara 😕 CB is fast becoming a calendar of DoDs for me 😟 although I do like the idea of the bader mask and the Medik8 serum

I think they said this year the AC would be more make up heavy. Maybe that's what's selling better with the younger than me crowd currently. All those covid years of skincare and clean beauty trends are maybe in the rearview now.

Ok just finished going through the Harrods one, it’s actually a no brainer purchase for me. But I don’t like the box!

One thing I really like about this one, over the Liberty offering, is that Harrods haven’t called anything that available for sale as full size. Where it’s available to buy in that size they’ve called it travel size. So at first pass you think you’re getting lots of minis, but you’re not. I’ve put FULL SIZE where I think it does count more than a travel or mini.

I wasn’t even considering Harrods at all, only CB, Liberty and Space NK where I buy from already. There’s a lot of stuff I wouldn’t use in there, but between Medik8 serum, MZ Skin masks and eye cream and Rodial blush and glowlighter it’s probably better for me than Liberty. Lots of face creams in it.

When does it launch in store? Better get my boxing gloves out 🥊.

I added what I could remember to the list, deleted the other category else we’d be here forever! I would appreciate a heads up on the Lego Star Wars AC if anyone here keeps an eye on that, as I miss it every year and I have a loved one who would really appreciate it.

@BakeOffRewatch thank you for doing this! Yes, I like harrods one best so far. You can still pre-order it, it's not yet sold out. I've also been eyeing up the Elle one as an extra one. It has quite a bit skincare in that I've not tried before and is rather cheap.

@OvaHere oh if that's what CB are doing, I can kinda rule them out now. I'm more interested in skincare. I did wonder last year if I'm maybe too old for their calendars 🤣

Harrods is out for me - a lot of make up and hair products I wouldn’t use. The skin care is very good though.

I get the lego star wars advent for ds22 every year. If I spot it before you, I'll let you know.

Actually for me Harrods is probably a no as so few fragrances – which I have realised are what I really like. I am happy with makeup but the harrods ones are not what I would want. And no bath stuff? waaaaah The skincare is good tho (and lack of fragrance makes sense bc durrr they have a fragrance advent!)

Libery otoh the more I look at it, the more I like it. If I got that I wouldn't need to get a fragrance one as well as it has I think 7 fragrances? I could always nab a Flannels cracker :) And Liberty has some nice makeup with Jones Road and Trinny; plus skincare from Votary and Zelens which I really rate and lippy from Trsih McEvoy. Not really any DoD apart from blooming Larry King.

Not sure whether to wait for JLP tho or just go for it haha.

I don’t think JLP is a luxury calendar on the same level as Harrods, HN and Space NK, though it’s priced in the hundreds. So if Liberty is ticking your boxes with fragrance and skincare brands you should go for it, because JL is priced a little lower with smaller sizes and larger proportion towards high street brands. Yeh JLP was my only AC last year, I thought it was good considering it was significantly cheaper. Agree tho, not so high end
