Saw the first post today releasing contents and price so have started this thread. Let the spreadsheets commence. Did Net a Porter do a ridiculous one as well? And Chanel with their grands worth of sundries, such as stickers?
I do like the Rituals spendy one, but it’s still all samey.
The Boots £99 one is nice but had it for the lat 2 years.
looks like no fragrance for me as HN is just meh!
So for me it will be Liberty, Anthropologie and a tea calendar.

I've used Neals yard stuff for 20 plus years off and on and always loved their stuff. I have a thing about Frankincense and use the essential oil to make my own Christmas candles, so I've become a bit obsessed with the thought of this cream. I'm going to have a wander into the concession at John Lewis at the weekend and ask to try it / smell it. It's £68 in JL.

Have been looking on vinted to see if I can get a bargainous one to try on there, but nowt doing.

People who get more than 1 - I'm interested in this 🤣 do you use them all as an advent calendar or do you raid a few beforehand? Also, how do people do the 12 day ones? I think they're meant to be opened after Christmas, but there is no way I could do that. I was thinking that I'd start it mid November, like a pre-advent advent calendar 🤣

Im very good with my advent calendars and don’t touch them before 1 December. I get my husband to check thst there’s something in each drawer in my main ones, but I usually have a couple of others hidden away upstairs which he doesn’t know about 😆😆. I always start my 12 day calendars on Christmas Day. I get really irritated when people start posting the contents of the 12 day calendars on the opening threads 😆

All the Neom contents have been revealed. Single brand obviously and those don't tend to have a very high price/value ratio but for those who prefer candles, scent stuff and body products it's maybe a nice one.

Only thing I would say about grooming calendars is that a lot are aimed usually at slightly older men. I ended up making a DIY one for DS (17) last year because some of the nicer ones had a number of products with actives that he was a bit too young for.

I saved the HN one until Jan this year as had too many and was an ice treat after Xmas.
Although this year I'll do whichever I get especially as on here people put on what's in there boxes for each day so don't want to miss the fun!
I've only been on here a few weeks. Soo excited! Even though I've only ordered Liberty atm, have beauty drop so technically free. Disappointed with a few of them. 🥰

Latest in Beauty do excellent grooming calendars IMHO. You do get some of the issues @OvaHere mentioned with anti ageing products, but overall the range is so good it's still worth it, and they do have things suitable for younger consumers too. It is a missed opportunity as there is a run of things aimed at younger female consumers but not so much for young men even though I know a number who would be interested.

I had an idea today and approached teen DD with two empty previous AC's. She loves to buy for me and I love to buy for her, so we are going to fill them for each other (we go to craft fairs and markets every weekend) She loved the idea and has picked which the one she wanted to fill for me.

In the past, I've had an Amazon face mask one for her (cheap, but wasn't used) and the Nivea one (same) so this year I'm going to go for the Holland and Barrett one for her this year. She also gets to open any of the ones I buy for myself (and nick anything she might fancy)

Ultimately, I think we will share whatever I buy as what's mine tends to be also hers.
