The amouage sampler was a good buy. Enjoying reflection man today. Definitely not too masculine. Saving the other 2, guidance and honor, for other days.

Full bottles are horrendously expensive more so than usual for niche so this is definitely a rich person's brand!

Let me know what you think of Honour Woman.

Fragrance du Bois Minuit et Demi today, a collaboration with fragrance influencer Demi Rawlings. I really like this one - spicy with cardamom and pepper, some caramel sweetness and a vanilla, woody dry drown. If you like Gris Charnel I think you’d enjoy this.

Prada infusion de vanille today. Definitely a grower. There are a few of the prada infusions in scent addict, amongst a sea of more regular/ popular fragrances, worth a look at this subscription service to try as £12 a month for 8ml isn't bad.

Will try honour woman later.

Trying Amouage Honour Woman. This is a white floral very well done. I'm not usually a massive fan of white floral but this is nice for a change, not one that grabs me and i prefer the other 2 I tried from the set. But in the interests of widening my palate, its very pleasant.

One more to try which is purpose.

For those not on the beauty advent thread - the Harrods fragrance calendar is now available for pre-order on the Harrods app.

It's bound to sell out within hours I reckon. Of course I have already ordered!

SOTD is an oldie from last year's calendar - Graff lesedi la rona vi which is a beautifully blended vanilla oud and floral concoction. So smooth you can barely tell the oud is there it just gives it a certain depth which is I suppose how it should be.

@IDontHateRainbows Surely they can't let it sell out today? They announced on their SM that it was releasing at 11am tomorrow and put out a countdown clock. Anyone not getting the heads up about the early app release would be mighty pissed off.

I’ve just succumbed to Harrods as a birthday treat for myself. It will arrive after my birthday but I don’t think of it as a Christmas advent as it’s so early. I absolutely love one of the smaller sized scents so I’m really happy with that. Be interesting to see if it all goes smoothly this year.

This suggests it's not coming back online tomorrow. That seems kind of bad on their part. Loads of people will still be thinking it's launching tomorrow.

I'm really lucky to have caught it. Agree its mean to change the goal posts.

I've decided not to sell any of the harrods ones unless I really hate one. So often I but to sell and only keep a few. For the price of one fb all these frags so I'm gonna try them all and keep any that aren't horrible.
I like dense, oudy scents so hopefully up my street.

I decided against Harrods perfume this year. I don't like oud or rose patchouli combo and the majority are that. I love the BDK choice but have full size bottle already. I am absolutely sure if people want to get rid few they don't want they will be able to do so very quickly but I just don't want to go through selling again this year - if I can avoid it. The content was not surprising - Harrods is for the brave. I hope Space NK have nicer variety this time - vs 20 versions of you and I don't know what type of perfumes.

I appreciate getting the chance to order before they were sold out, so thanks for keeping us updated!

Agree space nk was a mixed bag last year with too many of the light, trendy fragrance enhancers.
I know its early days but I haven't seen much byredo in the ACs either frag or beauty combo. Last year you couldn't move for thd little dab on byredos. Maybe they think the brand has enough exposure?

Danger time, I'll be on bond st on Friday afternoon and we know what's on/ near bond st? Liberty... and the fragrance lounge.

I'll try not to get tempted, AC should release in a few weeks with some fragrance in there and the scent kit, if its still available even, wasn't up my street.

@IDontHateRainbows I really want to try the new Byredo Alto Astral. It's supposed to be a coconutty gourmand. If you find yourself in Liberty do have a sniff for me. 😊

SOT evening ELDO nostos, another harrods fragrance calendar one. This is strong, rosey and oudy, very harrods. They sure do like their strong ouds. I don't usually like rose but the oud stops it being too sweet and floral.

Could someone please share the Harrods fragrance advent contents? I don’t have the app!

Bronze goddess nuit today, a nice inoffensive scent. Nothing special about it, but its pleasant.

I ordered the byredo set of 3 x 12ml which was half price, for the mojave ghost which I love. Also has black saffron which I thought id like but it has a weird quality to it I don't. And super cedar which isn't my thing
So selling those 2 on.

Liberty Maze from the scent kit for the office today. This has really grown on me. I think it could be a future purchase.

Had a stroll around one of our fragrance stores and was pleased to see they stocked BDK. Confirmed that my decant of Gris charnel is legit, thankfully. Unfortunately it’s just not working for me right now in the high heat, so one for when I visit Europe in the winter. I tried a couple and I really liked rouge smoking and surprisingly, pas ce soir. Not a fan of white florals usually, but this one was intriguing.. only sprayed on paper strips though so I need a proper try on skin next time.

I love most BDK but pas ce soir didn't do it for me. Rouge smoking is lovely, have you tried the extrait? It's deeper and not as sweet, lovely for cooler months.

I felt drawn to JHAG vanilla vibes today. A sweet, slightly salty, beachy concoction. No doubt come September I'll be reaching for heavy gourmands and spicy ouds so making the most of this decidedly summer scent today.

Well that’s put me right off. All so small and more Escentric Molecule. I have about 6 hanging around, due to be regifted. Think I’ll wait to see if anyone else does one.

Only space nk who do exclusively frag cal I think. Last year it had loads of trendy fragrance enhancer types so hoping this year is better.
