The next thread, royal style mavens! The title suggestion was from our last thread. Mary of Teck was never knowingly underdressed or less than bejewelled!

Agree. She always looked a bit shy and lacking in confidence before, which is understandable given her experiences as a student.

And maybe Maxima casts a long shadow. She seems such a big personality that it's a lot to live up to!

Here are Max and Wax at the King's Day concert. Max is looking quite muted in Natan, the sort of beige which is on trend.
I think the close up is lovely - her hair and makeup are both good, spot on.
Princess Laurentien going large with the earrings. Nice to see Queen Beatrix.

Goodness, I thought the lady in the blue patterned skirt was Max for a moment until I saw the different hair style. They seem to have similar taste in clothes and jewellery.
Here are Charles and Camilla continuing their tour of Italy, and Sophie meeting the Yellow Labrador Club. I love the one of the dog licking her face!

Camilla has brought some lovely brooches with her on the Italy trip! She wore a Faberge lily-of-the-valley brooch yesterday and today we have Prince Albert’s sapphire and Queen Mary’s emerald Celtic knot (the latter was a gift from Tsar Nicholas II of Russia). Very glad to see them being worn.

I'm a sucker for polka dots. Saw a beautiful one in M&S yesterday. Perfect for my DIL. Layers of chiffon skirt and a sleeveless bodice. How romantic to rewear your outfit 20 years later.

I really like the polka dot dress, and I think the shirt dress style looks good on Camilla. I'm like you, @justasking111 - I always have a few polka dot items in my wardrobe!

Camilla isn’t wearing the same dress as the wedding day one had trim and embellishment at the neckline and hem. She does seem to be wearing the same edge to edge coat. So the story is half right but obviously good PR. The DM had an article about her handbags today with 20 plus photos of various designer handbags several of which are around the £4K mark

Looking at the coat’s frayed trim today it isn’t too anywhere near as pristine as it was on its’ first outing so either she has worn it quite a lot over the years or it hasn’t been well looked after. I suspect she has worn it often.

Charles looks so young there! Camilla has changed very little in 20 years though.

The BBC report says the outfit has been “repurposed”, though so alteration have been made I suppose 🤷‍♀️

@smilesyhaving checked the BBC site I can definitely agree that alterations have been made! The coat has an extra not perfectly matched panel added to the bottom but the dress is so different I can’t believe it is the same dress at all. Maybe the lining was reused?!?

The wedding dress featured additional embroidery today, apparently, but Camilla also wore it in 2007 for the opening of the National Assembly for Wales.

No, that evening dress doesn't suit her, the cut isn't right and the fabric is too shiny.
